Bella’s Pov:
We arrived back in good ole’ California around nine at night. I was excited as ever to be coming back home. In all honesty, I did become home-sick every now and then during tour, but now that we’re home, I’m feeling much more relaxed.
Hannah continues to remind me to come visit her later on in the year because she already ‘misses me’. It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet and she’s already smothering me with messages. I guess it’s not as bad as this morning when we were all saying our goodbyes. Her hug was painfully tight and she wouldn’t stop telling me how much she was going to miss me. I wasn’t too worried about it though, I mean I’ll text her practically every day and I can visit her whenever I want, so it wasn’t all bad.
When everyone finished unloading the bus we all said our goodbyes and farewells to each other, having small conversations with each of the guys before leaving. I’m going to miss these guys, they were a lot of fun to be around with, but I’ll be sure to catch up with some of them. Hailing a cab, I waited for Austin and Alan to finish their conversation with the others. “Sorry, just give me a minute.” I apologised to the taxi driver and he nodded his head in acceptance. I didn’t want to rush Austin and Alan seeing that they might not see the other guys in a while, taking that they all live in different areas, apart from Aaron, Phil and Tino of course.
Finally they had noticed me waiting by the cab, and they said their last farewells to the guys before making their way towards me, loading up the boot with their luggage and seating themselves into the taxi seats. “Sorry to keep you waiting.” Austin mumbled to me as we buckled ourselves in.
“It’s okay.” I smiled. “I’m going to my house first so I can dump all my crap there.”
Austin nodded his head. “Are you sleeping over mine tonight?”
“Sure.” I smiled. “And are you going home?” I faced my gaze at Alan, but he shook his head.
“I might pop in and say hi to Ashley.” I nodded my head, understanding his words and told the taxi driver two different addresses.
It felt great driving through the streets of LA; nothing’s changed a bit. “It feels good to be back at home.” I broke the heavy silence and began the conversation.
“Ugh, I know right. I miss my god-damn coffees.” Alan complained.
“Alan,” I chuckled. “You’ve been having a coffee practically every morning during tour; I would have thought you would have been sick of it by now.”
“No,” He sighed. “I miss the coffees from that little vintage shop you introduced me to.” Both Austin and I laughed. “Ever since you showed me that shop, I’ve been hooked to their coffees, now I can’t wait to have one.” He sat up in excitement.
“Well, I miss the beach.” I sighed and dropped my head onto Austin’s shoulder, staring out the window while watching people fly by as we drove through the neighbourhood.
“Don’t worry; we’ll go there in a few days, after we’ve settled down with moving everything and all.” He looked down and smiled at me, and I couldn’t help but smile back.
“Wait, what?” Alan looked at us confusedly. “Moving what?” He narrowed his eyebrows.
“Oh, we haven’t told him.” I giggled. “I’m moving in with Austin.” I watched Alan’s smile grow wide.
