I lay on the solid wooden floor as people rushed past me. The dojo was empty as usual. And I lay down on the step as usual. It was as if the recent battle silenced the town. Natural day-to-day talk disappeared of the face of the earth. We were expecting life to get a lot busier from now on. We were definitely right to think so.
"Kurosaki. I know you're busy but do you mind helping me?" Asked Kan from squad 1.
He was carrying boxes from the main building to the storage building.
"Whatever" I replied while getting up.
The boxes seemed heavy, there was a decent amount of them too. I went back and forth between the buildings. I didn't expect to be doing this.

"Put them in that corner" said Kan as he left me in the room.
I placed them all in the corner in piles of three. All together there were 12 boxes. I had no idea what they contained.
"What's in them?" I asked Kan when he came back.
"You'll see soon enough" he said and went back out again.
"You can go back to lying around now" he continued.
I walked back to the dojo. Ryutaro was waiting there with a package.
"Ah! Kurosaki! Come, I found this left on the doorstep. It could be something dangerous..." he said.
"Like what?" I asked.
"A bomb. Or even worse" he replied.
"Whatever just open it" I said.
He opened the package. There was two separate boxes in side.
"One each?" I asked.
He nodded. We proceeded to open the boxes. I opened my box first and pulled the item out.

It was a red katana.
"Woah!" I shouted as I pulled it out.
"That's cool looking" said Ryutaro.
He pulled his out. It was a green katana.
"That's awesome...." he said.
We unsheathed them. Their blade looked hight quality.
"Who could've put them here?" I asked.
"Maybe one of the guys. We did need new sword's now anyway" Ryutaro replied.
"I'll go ask them" I said while getting up.
There was an unforseen silence throughout the lands. I knew something was going to happen. I felt watched as I walked through the village. When I arrived at the main building, it was even quieter. Something seemed wrong. Through the window, I could see that there was no guards like there usually is. I slowly opened the door to get inside, I entered to a horrible sight. All the guards were lying dead on the floor.
