~One problem after another, can they survive the burning blood bath of hell?~

Watching the burning hot golden flames devouring everything was all we could do. The fire was right on our tails. We ran for the window, which spontaneously caught fire as we grew near it. I could hear people outside shouting in to tell us to escape. But we couldn't, it was impossible. The group split in to three separate groups as the flames grew and spread on the old, wooden floorboards. Our group of four sprinted for the last door, we made it. Through the door was a linear path of flames. Our only option was to run right through it. So we did. After a short while, my legs weakened, I collapsed down into the flamed blood bath. The others turned to help me, I couldn't stand, my legs had given up.
"Just leave me. I'll find a way" I said.
"No! What about your children?!" Daisuke shouted.
He got me on his back and continued to run. By now we could just hear sirens over the roar of the flames. We ran through a dark room, illuminated by the flames. One of the guys stopped and stared at the corner of the room.

What he was staring at caught us all by surprise, a gas tank. The fire was surrounding it, I could hear it whistling. As we begun to run, the tank was heating up. When we reached the exit of the room, a giant explosion sent us half way through the building. The roof started collapsing in, I was lying on the burning floor, arms spread out facing upwards as the flames got closer to me. Luckily, Daisuke and the others weren't injured much, but there was no way they could get me out. The gas from the explosion was making it hard to breath too. Daisuke ran over to me.
"You ok?" He asked.
"I think...." I replied.
I began to drag myself across the floor, the flames flickered around us. I turned around, Daisuke was on his knees on the floor, coughing. The gas was spreading, and fast. Before I knew it I was lying gasping for air. I blacked out. But I was alive, I knew it.

Through my blurred eyes, I saw a firefighter standing looking at me. They had managed to get in, and we're about to get us out. There was enough of them to get us four out. They carried us out. Waiting outside was crowds of people. Probably the families of the people who died in the fighting, then the fire. I saw Atsuko, the twins, Ryutaro, Minako and Yoshiki stood waiting. As soon as we got out, we were rushed straight to the hospital.

*Some time later :0 (about 4 years)*

I'm in a wheelchair now. It makes life difficult, I can't work, I can't go anywhere alone, and, when I am with Takuto and Kazuki together alone, they both try to help me. They're 12 now. But they still argue. I've gave up everything, my murderous intent, my past and we'll, my eye and use of my legs. I will never kill again. I will live for my Takuto, Kazuki only. And of course, for Atsuko.
