Denise POV:
As I was completing some forms on my computer, my assistant peeped in my office and said,

"Ms. Vasi, you got a call."
"Who is it?" I asked; not looking away from my computer screen.
"A man named Regi." My assistant replied.

My eyes were wide open.

"Okay, please transfer the call to me. Thank you." I asked.

The assistant left and transferred the call.

"Hey, Regi. How are you?" I kindly asked.
"I'm good. I hope I'm not disrupting you." Regi said.
"Not really. I'm just filling out forms. Not that I mind but, how did you get my number?" I curiously asked.
"Well, I was meaning to get your number after the party. But as you and I already know, the party came to a sudden end." Regi explained.

I chuckled as my mind replayed Mya knocking Rachelle out. Regi continued to explain.

"I asked Larry if he could give me your number. I hope you don't mind that. "
"Mind? No...not at all." I stuttered.

Truth is...it bothered me that he would go through someone else to get in contact with me. It also bothered me that Larry still had my number. As I recalled, Larry blocked me.

"Great. Listen, I'm going to be leaving Miami in two days and I was wondering if we could go out and have dinner." Regi asked.

God, this man's voice is so sexy. I smiled and agreed to go out with him. When I hung up the phone, my assistant was peeking in the crack of my door.

"Get back to work!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Vasi." The assistant said and returned to the receptionist desk.

I laughed and continued to work.

Later that night, I found myself absolutely clueless on what to wear to my date with Regi. I searched for hours. Since I couldn't find nothing I liked, I wore this; with my black leather sneaker wedges.

I don't think he'll mind a casual look. And if he does, oh well. I texted him and informed him I was ready. Minutes later, Regi arrived. When I sat in the passenger seat, I was relieved he went with a casual look too.

"Hey, nice jacket." Regi complimented and he drove.
"Thanks. So, where we going?" I asked.
"The only place I like in Miami." Regi happily replied.
"Oh okay. Do you mind if I turn up the radio?" I asked as I glanced at him.
"Sure." Regi replied.

I turned up the radio and heard a familiar beat.

(Play song: Boney James-It's On)
"Hey, isn't this Boney James?" I asked.
"Yeah. He's my favorite jazz musician." Regi said with a smile.
"Me too." I added.
