Deleted scene 5: Studio Drama

If you haven't read the story. Please read it before you read the deleted scenes. I wasn't sure where to put this scene. So I decided not to use it in the story. Enjoy!

Author's POV:
Larry took Mya to a studio in downtown, Miami. Mya was so excited to be working with R. Kelly.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Mya said and shook R. Kelly's hand.
"The pleasure is all mine." R. Kelly replied and kissed the top of her hand.

Larry hugged Mya, kissed her cheek and said,

"I'm a let y'all get to work. I'll see you later. I love you."
"I love you too. Thanks." Mya replied and waved.

Mya wrote a song and explained it to R. Kelly. As Mya singed the words, R. Kelly started to a beat. They harmonized the chorus together. Two hours into the session, R. Kelly continued to complement Mya on her voice.

"I'm mean it. You have such a heartfelt voice. You could teach so many hearts with your lyrics." R. Kelly added and rubbed her hand.

Mya glanced at his hand on hers and removed it.

"Something wrong?" R. Kelly asked.
"Yeah, don't touch me." Mya demanded.
"I'm sorry. You're just such a gentle soul." R. Kelly replied.
"Thank you but let's get back to work." Mya said.
"Okay." R.Kelly agreed.

After many takes in the booth, Mya asked for a break. R. Kelly pointed to the mini refrigerator and said,

"There's food and drinks in there. You're welcome to anything you want."
"Thank you. I was just about to google up a store." Mya replied and walked to the fridge.

Mya bent down and looked into the fridge. R.Kelly was checking her out. R. Kelly stood up and locked the door. The moment Mya grabbed a sandwich, he grabbed her booty. Mya jumped up, pushed him away and yelled,

"What you doing!"
"I can make this sing a hit. The question is how bad do you want it?" R. Kelly asked.

Mya paused and she slowly moved her face closer as if she was going to kiss him. She kneed him in the crotch. R. Kelly screamed, dropped to his knees and fell over. Mya ran to the door unlocked it and ran out the studio. She picked up the phone; while crying.

"Larry." Mya cried.
"What's wrong babe? Is the studio session not going well." Larry asked.
"Robert made a pass at me. And he put his hands on me." Mya explained.

Larry's line went silent.

"Hello? Larry?" Mya asked in confusion.

Larry stopped what he was doing and drove in full speed to the studio. Minutes later, Larry pulled up in the parking lot. Mya ran to the car and hugged Larry.

"You okay, baby?" Larry asked with concern.
"I'm okay." Mya replied.
"Where is he?" Larry asked.
"Inside." Mya answered.

Larry quickly reached in his dashboard and pulled out a gun. Mya was shocked.

"Larry, you got a gun? What you gonna do with that?" Mya fearfully asked.
"I'm just gonna talk to him." Larry calmly said as he loaded up the gun with bullets.
"Please, don't kill him." Mya begged.
"I'm just gonna talk to him." Larry calmly said and checked the safety on the gun.
"Baby, I love you. I don't want you to do something your gonna regret. Promise me." Mya asked.
"I promise. Now, get in the car. Start the engine and I'll be back." Larry demanded and walked inside the studio.

When Larry arrived to the room, R. Kelly wasn't there.

"Where's he at?" Larry asked himself out loud.
"I'm right here." R. Kelly said.
"What did you do to my girl?" Larry firmly asked.
"Come on man. You know how these females are. They'll do anything to get to the top. And I do mean anything. So, why not help them?" R.Kelly replied with a smirk.
"I'm trying to not go to jail. But you keep pushing it." Larry said and put his gun away.

Instead Larry punched him in the face. When Larry realized his punch didn't do nothing to him; Larry ran out the studio. Larry hopped in the car and yelled,

"DRIVE WOMAN, DRIVE!"

Mya panicked and pulled out the parking lot in full speed.
