Of life and bravery

I never was one to lose hope and it showed with every word I uttered.

But then the trials came, and words once said I could hardly stutter.

How did I not realize just how much danger we would find within?

And how did I make it sound so damn easy to let the light in?

You cannot stop a war with simple words.

Just one person cannot shift a thousand years into reverse.

But we'll work together, and change whatever we find we can.

And we'll do our best to conquer the evils in our life span.

The deeper I get, the more I cherish each and every day.

From now on I'll grow where I am planted, and bravely face whatever comes my way.
