Glory rushed into the dining room to grab her backpack and headphones, rushing to get to school on time.

"Hurry Glory! We're going to be late!" cried Jamba, Glory's brother. (I'm Glory by the way.)

"Since when did you care?" I yelled back, rushing downstairs to grab my lunch, "Not my fault I had to stay up all night doing homework! I had to study for three tests and finish a project."

"You need to stop worrying so much! You need your sleep!" Jamba said, munching a papaya. I grabbed my lunch, gave our mom a kiss, and flew out the door. Jamba leaped into the air and flew after me. I was the Queen of the Rainwings, and I couldn't sleep. I had duties, Jamba would never understand.

We got to school just before the bell rang. Dragonets from all of the tribes were bustling through the doors and flying threw openings in the roof.

"Glory! Down here!" Deathbringer cried, waving his arms. I flew down there and landed beside him.

"Hey Deathbringer!" I said.

"You look tired! What happened to you? Were you up late again?" Death bringer asked.

"I love you too." I said, walking towards my class.

"Nice job." Jamba said, "Well, see ya later." Jamba flew off as Deathbringer scrambled after me.

"You need to get more sleep you know. You like your going to topple over!" Deathbringer said, twining his tail around mine.

"I'm fine! Don't worry!" I said, "We're going to be late for class! Come on!" I pulled Deathbringer behind me, in twining my tail.

"Geez! Your strong!" Deathbringer said.

Class started just as we sat in our seats.

"Good morning students." Mr. Mongo said.

"Good morning Mr. Mongo." The students recited.

"Today we will be learning on how to do two step linear equations. Open up your math books to page 129." Said the teacher. We pulled out our math books and turned to the right page. A piece paper flew towards me and landed on my desk. I looked to see who did it and I found Deathbringer motioning to read the little scroll. I unrolled the scroll and it read,

"How boring could this get? Why don't you get some Z's while he is blabbering about math problems.
         -Deathbringer"

I giggled, what a dunce. I looked up at him and shook my head. He replied by nodding back.

"Mr. Deathbringer." Said the teacher. Deathbringer looked up at Mr. Mongo.

"Yes Mr. Mongo?" Deathbringer asked.

"Are you passing notes in class?" The teacher asked.

"Nope! I am throwing notes." Deathbringer replied. Some of the students giggled, but we're hushed by the teacher's glare.

"Mr. Deathbringer, we do not throw notes in class. If I see it again, you are going to stay in for nutrition and help me sort out homework. Are we clear?" Mr. Mongo said.

"Clear as day!" Deathbringer said with a handsome smile.

"Hmm." The teacher grunted before slithering back to his desk.

"Ahem, where was I? Ah yes, the second step. If you have a whole number, you..." He droned on. I looked over at Deathbringer, he winked at me and returned to his work.
