Hidden Savior (Bill Weasley)

A/N Update

I have no idea if anyone will read this, but I just logged into this account and realized I left this un-updated for like three years. I abandoned the piece for a while because I was struggling to fit all the pieces together. I eventually started to rework it with a slightly different main character and then things went in a way different direction. It will still be about an American witch with the same concept of magic being more advanced outside of the Ministry of Magic. And Bill Weasley is still the romantic interest of the book, and there will still be a lot of swearing. I have the outline of most of the book, I'm just connecting everything together. 

I am hoping to continue working on that piece, which will also be called "Hidden Savior", more now as I have the time to do it. So I may delete this book and maybe all the books and just start from scratch. But probably not until I have the first few chapters of the book to start with. 

I seriously can't believe anyone read this like it's so crazy to me. I hope you'll like what I'm writing now as much as you liked this story. 

I also want to say that I am completely appalled by J.K. Rowlings recent statements about transgender women. I do not agree with her. I believe trans women are women, trans men are men, and nonbinary people are who they say they are. I am choosing to look at it this way: J.K. Rowling did give me the books that saved my life and continue to do so. I'm not going to say "it's crazy how the Harry Potter books exist with no author" or whatever people will say. You can't completely separate the artist from the art. But I can continue to see the Harry Potter world in the way I always have, which was much bigger than anything she wrote in the books. With fanfiction, I have built an entire world that doesn't exist according to J.K. Rowling, but it does to me. So I will continue making Harry Potter content. When I started this series of books years ago, I wanted to make sure that it had the representation that Harry Potter didn't. With characters that were black, indigenous, and people of color, and LGBTQ+ characters, and characters with disabilities. And that's what I'm going to continue to do. As Daniel Radcliffe said, "If these books taught you that love is the strongest force in the universe, capable of overcoming anything; if they taught you that strength is found in diversity, and that dogmatic ideas of pureness lead to the oppression of vulnerable groups; if you believe that a particular character is trans, nonbinary, or gender fluid, or that they are gay or bisexual; if you found anything in these stories that resonated with you and helped you at any time in your life — then that is between you and the book that you read, and it is sacred. And in my opinion, nobody can touch that." 

So yeah. More books to come. Hopefully soon.
