Grey's Anatomy: Meredith and Derek's Love Story

Chapter 2: Jealousy

Meredith and Derek went out public. Kids in the school started gossip about them, others hating on them, etc. Meredith felt sad.

Derek POV
"Meredith, what's wrong?", I asked. "Its just that people are thinking we are a dumb relationship and we don't belong together." Derek tried to cheer her up by saying "don't listen to them, we're beautiful and we know that. They are just jealous."

Meredith POV
A cheerleader walked up the Meredith. The cheerleader started insulting, saying "You! Meredith Grey. You are dating my dream man! He is mine, not yours, so back off bitch!" Derek saw what had happened. He was shocked. The crowd let Derek in. The cheerleader started to lie. "Derek, she just told me she's using you!"

Derek POV: "No she didn't say that, I heard everything." "I love Meredith, and I will never stop loving her. Just please go away, Stacy. (The cheerleader's name). Stacy groaned and slapped Mer. Derek yelled "STOP STACY." Stacy was shocked. She started to dislike Derek. Meredith ran. Derek chased after her, after 5 minutes of chasing Meredith, he finally caught up. "Meredith, don't worry about Stacy." Derek said, while rubbing Meredith's cheek Stacy had slapped. Derek kissed her repeatedly. Stacy saw and got mad. She ran with with a knife, aiming for Meredith. Derek saw what she was trying to do, right when Stacy was about to stab Mer, Derek had went to Mer and took the knife for Meredith. Stacy was shocked, so was Meredith. Meredith slapped Stacy and pushed her. "Get away from Derek, you insane bitch!" Meredith yelled. So Stacy got away. Meredith called 911 and the principal. Derek groaned. "I'm fine." Meredith yelled back, "No you're not" she cried. Tears fell from her face.

Meredith POV
Derek was unconscious and the paramedics had come. Meredith went on the paramedic van and kissed Derek. "Stay alive, you hear me?" Derek replied, "Kiss me." So Meredith kissed him. Derek vowed "I wont die, I promise." Stacy got suspended from school and charged for attempted murder. Derek was in the O.R. After he got out of the Operating Room, Derek was in ICU. Meredith was frightened. She saw Derek attached to multiple machines. Meredith asked Dr. Hunt why he was attached to multiple machines. Dr. Hunt tried to respond nicely, trying not to make the high school girl even more afraid. Meredith went in Derek's room.
