Derek POV
Derek woke up, next to Meredith. A phone call went off, waking the two. Derek shook Mer's shoulders, which felt smooth. Derek said "Someone is calling you, Mer." Meredith replied back, "I don't want to answer it, I want to be in bed with you. You make a comfortable and warm." "I know Mer, but it might be important." Meredith groaned. She answered the phone, it was her mother, Ellis Grey. "Are you at school yet, Meredith?" Meredith and Derek were shocked, they got carried away and had forgot about school. So Mer thanked her mother for reminding them.

Meredith POV
I told Derek about the new student rumor. Derek thought it was full of baloney at first, but then he believed the rumors. An hour later, a new student had arrived to the classroom. I whispered to Derek, "Derek, are you okay?" Derek was shocked. It was his best friend from Maine. Derek replied back, "He's my best friend from Maine. We also played together in New York. I moved to Seattle when I was 10 or 11." Meredith was shocked just like Derek. Mark saw a familiar face. It was Derek. Mark also saw a beautiful girl sitting next to him, which was Meredith. Mark sat next to Derek. Derek and Mark happily greeted each other. I had a feeling Derek's friend was in love with me, but I'm not so sure. I asked Derek, "Hey I'm gonna ask the teacher if I could go to the bathroom, wanna come with me?" I asked, giggling. Derek nodded happily. They went to the restroom. They forgot to lock the boy's bathroom. They were kissing passionately. Mark Sloan walked in on them. Derek and I just stared at each other, then we stared at Mark.

Mark POV
I walked in on the girl I like and my best friend having sex. I felt awkward. Derek asked, "Mark. Please close the door." So I closed the door and locked it. Meredith felt awkward, so she asked Derek "Lets go back to class." Derek agreed. It was lunch. Meredith was at cheer. I sat next to Derek. I asked, "What do you two have?" Derek replied back, "What concerns you?" "When I walked in the new classroom, I saw her, I thought I would be the love of her life. But instead, her love of her life was you." Derek replied, "Oh." I asked angrily, "How long have you two been together?" Derek was surprised by his outrage, but he still replied. "Almost a year." I threw my lunch away.

Derek POV
I saw Meredith on the grass waiting for me. Then, Mark approached her, pulled her up and kissed her. Meredith pushed him back, and asked him angrily, "What are you doing?!?!?" I ran to Mark and punched him, and then came to Meredith. "Mer, are you okay?" Kissing her on the forehead. Meredith replied, "Yeah." Then we went home. I was staring at Meredith, she looked saddened. I was worried. I asked her, "I'm sorry this happened to you, he was jealous of us and he liked you the first time he came in." Meredith had the same shocked reaction as Derek when Derek had found out. Meredith said, "You owe me." I asked her, "I owe you what?" Meredith said, "Sex." They both laughed.
