Katniss P.O.V.

I lay awake and stare at the back of Peeta's head in the dark. One question ran through my mind as we were getting ready for bed, but I'm afraid to ask him. Now, it's keeping me up.

The truth is, I'm afraid what his answer will be. Then again, I'm not entirely sure what I do want his answer to be. I know he's alseep now, but I have to give it a shot.

"Peeta?" I whisper.

"Yeah?" he replies sleepily. Huh. I thought for sure he was asleep.

I may as well ask him now, though.

"If I'm not pregnant, would you want to start trying for another baby?" I ask him.

Peeta turns over on his back and stares up at the ceiling. He folds his hands across his chest and takes a deep breath.

"I think it would be nice to have another baby," Peeta says. He rolls his head over to face me. "What do you think about it?"

I bite my lip, mulling the question over in my head. "I don't know," I say truthfully. "I figured that if we ever did have another baby, we'd wait until Willow was at least two or three."

"By the time the baby would get here, Willow will be two," Peeta points out.

"Yeah, I know," I say.

Peeta tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Go to sleep," Peeta says as he drapes his arm over me. "We'll talk more about it tomorrow." He pulls me closer to him and kisses me.

I lay my head over on his chest and close my eyes. That's as close as I get to finding sleep. Willow starts whining. I make sure Peeta's asleep before I get up to go check on her. I leave the light off in her room, hoping she'll go back to sleep quickly. I change her diaper and then lay her back down.

"Mama," Willow says as she reaches for me.

"Baby, I've got to back to bed so you'll go to sleep," I tell her. She looks at me like she's about to cry, and it breaks my heart. "Do you want to go lay down with me and Daddy?" I ask her. She nods her head and I pick her up. "Daddy will probably fuss at me for this, but he'll just have to get over it, won't he?" I tell Willow as I carry her over to mine and Peeta's bedroom.

I lay her down between us and she falls asleep just moments before I do. I'm not for sure, but I think I hear Peeta chuckle right before I fall asleep.

I feel Peeta's lips on mine, and I laugh a little bit. I immediately start kissing him back and he smiles. He pulls back just enough where our lips still touch when he talks.

"Good morning," he says softly.

"Good morning," I reply. I open my eyes and Peeta smiles again. "What?"

"I noticed that Willow ended up in our bed last night," Peeta says.

"I wonder how that happened," I say innocently.

"Me too," Peeta plays along. "Maybe somebody brought her in here from her room."

"I don't know," I say. "Did you?"

"No," Peeta says. "I was actually thinking you did it."

"Me?" I ask in mock surprise. "Of course not."

Peeta starts laughing. "I love you, Katniss. But you are a terrible liar." I smile at him and he bends down and kisses me again.

"Where is Willow?" I ask.

He laughs a little. "She's in her room waiting for you to wake up. I tried to get her to come eat her breakfast, but she's wanting her mommy."

I smile. "Really?"
