Katniss P.O.V.

"Katniss, can you come up here and talk some sense into your daughter?" Peeta asks as he comes down the steps.

I laugh. "Oh. So she's my daughter when she's being stubborn?"

"Exactly," Peeta says.

I sigh. "Okay. What is she being stubborn about this time?"

"She's wanting to stay with us tomorrow," Peeta says. "I'm trying to get her to pack her things so I can take her over to Ellen's, but she's made her mind up that she's staying here."

I roll my eyes. "I'll go see what I can do," I say as I start up the stairs. I go into Willow's room to see her unpacking everything. "Willow," I laugh. "Daddy had that all packed up for you to go to Grandma's."

"I not want to go to Grandma's," Willow says.

"What about Grandpa's." I suggest.

"No," Willow argues. "I stay with you and Daddy."

I sigh and sit down on her bed. "Sweetie, me and Daddy have somewhere to go tomorrow and if you go with us, you'll be really bored."

"So?" Willow asks.

"So, wouldn't you rather have fun?" I ask her.

"Yeah," Willow says after she thinks about it for a minute.

"Then you need to go to Grandma's," I tell her.

"Okay," she says reluctantly.

"You'd better get your stuff packed back up then," I say. Willow nods her head and then I go back downstairs to Peeta.

"Is she ready to go?" he asks.

"She will be in a minute," I reply. Peeta and I sit down on the bottom step to wait for Willow.

"Are you okay?" Peeta asks as he reaches over and takes my hand in his.

"Yeah," I reply. "Just a little nervous about tomorrow."

"There's nothing to be nervous about," Peeta assures me. "It's just going to be a bunch of tests."

I laugh. "You wouldn't be saying that if you were the one being turned into a human pin cushion."

Peeta chuckles. "True," he says.

"I'm not nervous about that part though," I say truthfully.

"Then what are you nervous about?"

I take a deep breath. "What if everything comes back and they can do the treatment, then it doesn't help anything? What if..."

"Katniss, don't do that right now," Peeta says softly. "Let's not start dwelling on everything that could go wrong. Let's not even think about everything that could go right. Let's just focus on what's happening right now. Let's take it one day at a time, okay?"

I smile at him and nod my head. "One day at a time." Peeta leans over and kisses me.

"I love you so much, Katniss."

"I love you too, Peeta."

"I'm ready!" Willow hollers. Peeta and I turn around to see Willow trying to drag everything over to the steps. Peeta gets up and goes to help Willow.

"Let's go, baby girl," I tell Willow as I pick her up. I carry her out to the car and strap her in her car seat. We get halfway to Mom's house when Willow suddenly bursts into tears.

"What's wrong, Willow?" Peeta asks her as I quickly look in the back seat to make sure she's okay.

"Where my blankie?" Willow asks.
