Katniss P.O.V.

"Is she asleep this time?" I ask Peeta as he walks into our bedroom.

"Yeah," he replies as he lays down beside of me. "And it only took two hours of rocking and about four bed time stories."

"And that's why you're the best Daddy ever." Peeta chuckles and I lay my head over on his chest. Silence surrounds us and I start to get nervous.

It's been over a year since Peeta and I made our agreement. So far, he's held on to his end of the deal. He only asks me every six months, and he doesn't argue when I say no. The last time he asked was three months ago, and even though I again said no, it's quiet times like this that I almost tell him otherwise.

I honestly have no clue what's holding me back, but just as I open my mouth to speak, Willow calls out.

"Daddy!"

Peeta laughs and stands up. "I'll be right back," Peeta says as he leaves the room. I burrow down into the covers and slowly drift off to sleep.

About an hour later, I'm jolted awake when something hits my back. I turn on my other side to see Willow laying next to Peeta with her legs stretched straight out. I smile and try to move her legs but she just stretches back out, waking Peeta up.

"Are you okay?" he asks when he sees I'm also awake.

"Yeah," I reply. "Other than having a bruise on my back the size of Willow's foot."

Peeta chuckles. "Sorry. I couldn't get her back to sleep and she was begging to come in here."

"It's okay," I laugh. Willow starts moving around again, hitting Peeta in the nose.

"Maybe I should take her back to her room so we can sleep," Peeta says.

"I'll take her," I say before I carefully pick Willow up. She starts whimpering and moving around. "Shh, you're okay." I tell Willow as I carry her back to her room. I lay her down and kiss her forehead.

"Mommy," Willow says.

"Go back to sleep, baby girl," I say. She nods and I tuck her in before going back to mine and Peeta's room. I lay down on our bed facing Peeta. He doesn't even open his eyes as he lazily wraps an arm around me.

"Maybe we can get some sleep without waking up with any broken bones," Peeta mumbles.

"Yeah," I laugh.

"Goodnight, Katniss."

I go to reply, but something else slips from my mouth. "Ask me," I tell him, knowing he'll understand.

Peeta opens his eyes and raises an eyebrow at me. "What?"

"You heard me," I say. "Ask me."

Peeta smiles at me. "I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because, if I remember correctly, you told me I could only ask every six months," Peeta replies.

"Yes, but I also said that was unless I brought it up," I remind him. "So ask me."

Peeta pulls me in closer and takes a deep breath. "Can we start trying for another baby?" Peeta asks.

I smile at him and nod. "Yes," I reply. Peeta leans in and starts kissing me, but he quickly pulls away.

"Hang on a second," Peeta says before he stands up off the bed. He goes over to the door and closes it before coming back over to the bed.
