Katniss P.O.V.
"Katniss," Peeta says softly as he gently shakes my shoulder. I open my heavy eyes and smile at him. He leans over and presses a soft, loving kiss to my lips. "Merry Christmas."
I laugh a little. "Merry Christmas to you too," I reply. Willow starts moving around in my arms and I look down at her. "How'd she end up in our bed last night?" I ask, not really remembering bringing her in here.
Peeta smiles down at us. "I just now brought her in here. I was afraid she'd wake up. She must've been tired."
I laugh quietly. "That's what putting a Christmas tree back up at two in the morning does to you." Peeta chuckles and shakes his head.
Since we've put the tree up almost two weeks ago, Willow's knocked it down twice. Once by pulling on the lights again, then last night by falling into it.
"Well, I'm going to go put Willow's gift together in her room," Peeta says as he stands up off the bed. "Just bring her in there when she wakes up." I nod my head, and Peeta kisses me once more before leaving the room.
I go into the bathroom to get dressed. When I come back out, Willow's starting to stir a little. I go across the hall and Peeta looks up at me."Are you almost done?" I ask him.
He laughs and shakes his head. "No. Not really."
"Well, Willow's starting to wake up, so I'm going to take her downstairs for breakfast first. Do you want anything?"
"No, I'll eat something when I get done," Peeta says.
"Okay," I reply. "Just holler when you want me to bring her up here." Peeta nods his head and I walk back to our bedroom.
This time, Willow is sitting up on our bed. She acts like she's looking for me or Peeta, and when she sees me she smiles real big.
"Hi, baby girl," I say as I sit down beside of her on the bed. I run a hand through her hair and laugh. "Willow, you're hair is crazy." She smiles at me and crawls into my lap. I wrap my arms around her and kiss the top of her head.
"Are you ready to eat?" I ask her. She nods her head and I pick her up. I take her into the kitchen and feed her. When she's done eating, we go into the living room and sit in her favorite spot.
Right in front of the tree.
"You're going to be mad at Mommy and Daddy when we have to take the tree down, aren't you?" I ask her. She just keeps staring at the tree and I laugh. "I'll take that as a 'yes.'"
"Willow, come here!" Peeta hollers from upstairs. She looks at me and I smile.
"Come on," I say as I stand up off the floor. "Let's go see what Daddy wants." She reaches for me and I pick her up. When we get upstairs, I put her down and she takes off towards mine and Peeta's bedroom.
Peeta starts laughing. "Willow, over here." She turns around and smiles widely before she takes off running into her room. I laugh and follow her. She stops right in the doorway and stares at the spot where her crib used to be. "Do you like your new bed, baby girl?" Peeta asks her.
Willow looks at Peeta, and then back at the spot where her crib's supposed to be. She looks over her shoulder at me and I smile at her.
"Where did it go?" I ask her as I bend down to her level. She looks back at Peeta and he laughs.
"Come here," Peeta tells her. I give Willow a little nudge and she goes racing across the room to Peeta, making sure she puts plenty of distance between herself and her new bed. Peeta laughs and picks her up. "What's the matter?" he asks her.
