Intro,
We had now been standing at the airport for four hours, almost five. There flight had now been delayed at least 6 times. We - my mom and me - Have been sitting on those air port chairs that aren’t really that comfy for that long.
It was now 8:34 at night. Their flight was supposed to be here at 4:02. It was a two hour drive to the air port to pick them up, so by the time they get here - They said they should be here by nine now - Would take the time to get their luggage and then drive home it should be midnight.
Wonderful, my first summer back to our camp and we weren’t gonna be there till midnight. However, it doesn’t matter how late we get back, were going for a swim. We always did, me, my brother, and my 3 other ‘brothers.’ They really weren’t my real brothers but I had know them since I was little.
They Arrive,
My phone went off, again. It was Ryan. We had been texting all day. Ever since he woke up at about 4 this morning. He was my best friend, even thought we lived so far away he still was. Him and his family - Andrew, Ethan Adam, and Debora - came down every summer since Andrew, the oldest, was 2. I Looked down at my phone.
To: Sarah!
From: Ryan<3
Sarahh, I can’t wait. Twenty-five more minutes<3
To Ryan<3

Yay! You gonna give me a BIG hug when you get here?
To: Sarah!
From: Ryan<3
Yes,<3 I’ll be the first one okay?
To Ryan<3
From Sarah!
Okay<3 Can’t wait<3
We continued to text for the next 15 minutes so that left 10 minutes of sitting there of boredom.
“Have you talking to any of them recently?” My mom random said.
“Uh, I’ve been texting Ryan, all day. He woke me up this morning.”
“Oh, really?”
“Yeah,” I smiled.
As I was sitting there my stomach started to growl. I was getting hungry.
“Hey, Mom. I’ll be right back. I’m gonna go get a snack from a vending machine.”
“Okay. Hurry, They should be here in ten minutes.”
I smiled and shook my head. Didn’t she know I already knew that? I had been counting the minutes down since this morning.
I got up and walked over to where all the vending machines were. The first thing I saw was chocolate. I would have gotta chocolate any day, but since I knew they where going to be here any time now I had to say no. Instead I got a bag of chips, barbecue. It was my favorite.
After I grabbed them from the bottom of the vending machine I walked back over to where we where waiting. Seven more minutes. I pulled my Iphone out of my back pocket and went to Twitter.
‘Still at the airport. Been here for four hours! Six more minutes<3’
I went to facebook and posted something there too.
