"Come on! And you said you can kills Hades. Boy you are was weak as they go." Ky was training me for my battle with Hades and he was going easy on me! The nerves of him!! "Again." I said. "Harder. I know you're going easy with me. So again and harder." I felt as if I couldn't stand no more but I must not show it in front of him. If Hades were to be here, I know he would be ruthless and take advantage of my weakness. I hide my tiredness from Ky but normally he would see through this and it was no different than before. "Come on let's take a break. I know you're tired. Haha loser!!!" Ky chanted. I got mad so I threw my sword, not blunted, at him thinking I got him but at last second he turn, and move, dodging it but smirking at me on the way. "Really!! Man, I am going to get you." Changing the subject rather fast, I dared ask, "When can I battle Hades? I feel as if i am strong enough." "Ohh really? Hm. dodge this then!" Fast as lightning he elbow me. "Slow and Hades would have won the battle. You are not ready." Under this all I knows that Ky thinks I'm ready but doesn't want to send me off, afraid that I will die.

    "You know I won't die. Don't you trust me?" I knowingly taunt him. He sharpy reply, "Your mom and I have something to say at dinner. Clean yourself up till then." With that Ky march into the house. "Fine!" I mumbled throwing my hands upward. "Geez! What is pople hiding from me?" I ask no one. Calm down. They aren't keeping secrets. They will tell you when they think is the right time. Edythe said in my head. "Fine fine." And in the house I march. I clean myself in good times and dinner was ready when I walk down. "Come. For good and bad news awaits." Mother said smiling but the smile did not reach her eyes. "Ok." I said. Something ain't right. We said grace and dug in. In the middle of dinner was when the announcement came.

    "Kevin as you know your birthday is coming in a few weeks and on your birthday we. . " Ky cutted mother off there, "Let's skip the flattery ok?" Ky never went around the problem but always faces it head on. "You can go on your birthday in two weeks with me and that's final. You take or leave." His tone left no room for argument. Voice breaking and drawing in a shaky breath I said, "Take." After I said that I ran to my room. I need some alone time to take this in. Pros: I can battle Hades in two weeks, on my birthday, with Ky. Cons: Ky is with me, I might die, and Ky might die.

    Yes, it was time for Hades to pay but this was happening all too fast. Breath. Deep breaths. Why don't you sleep or take a nap on this? It always help you know. And right after your training with this news I think it's for the best. Mother said. Shouldn't I at least bade them good night? I ask? No, don't worry. They always check up on you so you don't need to say good night. But since you mention it, Good night Kevin. Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite. Edythe reply. Soon I reach my room and without bothering to undress, I fell asleep almost instantly as I saw mom and Ky coming in. Probably want to talk to me, I though. Well they can talk to me after I wake up. "Good night" I managed to say before falling asleep.
