Farewell

In the back of my eyelids were a bright red. Someone must have open the window. And I, must have slept through the night. I shoved my face into my pillow and pulled the blanket up higher. I was always good at falling asleep even if it was loud or bright. "Close the window." I mumbled. Knowing who ever it was won't, it at least deserve a try. "Wake up sleepy head." A voice said. No doubt Ky. My reply came much slower as I was already falling asleep again. "Make me." And make me he did till mother walk in at the perfect time as he and me were ready to fight. "Now now boys. There more than one way to settle this." "Really?" Ky voice dripped with sarcasm. "Yea Ky, there really is another way." With that remark, I grab my pillow, plus the blanket, and bolted out of my room, into the kitchen, grab a burn piece of toast, out the door, up the tree and back asleep. My life.

    "Come back down here at once!." Hearing that, I knew I climbed the perfect tree. Mom and Ky were too old and even if  Ky could climb the tree, he was be in pain or fall off. Even though I wanted to fall asleep I couldn't because of all that running so my mind was wide open. I tried to listen for what they were sayin but all I could hear was hush whispers. They finally spoke up.  Ky first, "Come on. We're leaving today to find the couple, Ian and Xander. Your mom is packing us up lunch right now and we wanted to leave at dawn but we were nice and let you sleep like till midday!!" "Fine. Here move. I'm coming down." And down I jumped.

    Few minutes later and we were ready to go. "Take care now!! And Ky watch out for him!! Please don't die either!! Come back safely!!" Mother already had tears streaming down on her cheeks. "We promise." I nudge Ky. "I promise to." Ky said somewhat quietly. Mom kept waving at us till i can no longer see her anymore. "So let's find this couple ok? And when we do find them, no making fun of them either ok?" "Fine fine. But really a gay couple? Ky that's mess up!!" I said. I wasn't ashamed to say it. But in return I got slapped twice! "Wha?" I never finish that line either because I got slapped again. Knowing Ky I shutted up. "Your mom, Edythe, should have told you that you shouldn't make fun of people because of who they like! Didn't your mom teach you better!!?" Ky said angrily. "Fine. I won't do anything bad nor will I make fun of them." I reply.
