Hades's Anger

Falling Down

   We haven't stay up that long. Ian, Xander, and Ky stayed up to ten while I fell asleep at eight. I found out that Xander had been the one to put me into the tent and sleeping bag when I fell asleep. I made sure to thank him in the morning and told me back no problem. We were getting ready for the battle today and was packing up. We are going to leave all the things that we don't need as we are planning to battle him today. If we are to survival then we would go to this tree and wait if anybody else lived or if we all die then our stuff is a welcome gift for the next party who wanted to kill Hades.

    By mid day we were ready and settled out to leave. Ian and Xander played their violins to charm Charon and keep him spellbound while taking us to Cerberus. When we arrived at Cerberus, the three head dog was silently sleep for Xander had played a lullaby to make it go to sleep. Since the underworld is gloomy and has never hear the happy music of the world, the souls were as spellbound as Charon and Cerberus was. They parted ways and one boldly led the way to Hades.
    When Hades heard the song he shouted, "My love, Edythe, where have you gone? I have searched far and low for you? Do not leave me!" "He seems somber." I whisper to Ky. "Gods cannot be somber but he was gone mad without your mom at his side. I have the right to believe that she was the last thing holding him together." Ky said. "Anyway should we speak up to tell him we are here?" Ian asked us? "Yes, we should but play a lullaby to make him sleepy so we can kill him easier." Ky said. With and nod and few spoken words to xander the music change Hades greatly. "This is I, your son, born and the rightful heir to your title, and I come here to take it by force!" I shouted boldly but I was shaking with fear inside. I could not let him see it nor can I let him see Ky for Ky is to sneak up on him and help me battle him when Hades is open.

"You!! You took Edythe away from me! You're the one who did this mess!!" Hades sent an earthquake to the mortal world. "You!! If you're never born, you would have never cause me this! Die!" "And are you going to be a coward and sent for your army? Only a true god would fight without backup as Ares. But you, are nothing! You don't deserve the title and this is the mess you made on your own! We battle now to the death and who wins gains the title and who loses shall die in honor. Do we have a deal?" I ask in a dead voice. If he saw my fear then I shall lose but I don't show my fear than I stand a chance to live. "Fine, I accept your challenge to battle. I give my words that I will fight fairly. May the battle begin!" With a flick of his wrist, his true form appear and again I trembled with fear but hid it well. He notice that I was not amazed or frightened and he got angry.

We circle each other than Hades made the first move which I dodge easily. Seem that he recognize me as his son and doesn't want to hurt me but I felt the pain when he kill Edythe in front of me. Something that I will not forget and I hold that out against him. I didn't hold back and went full on. He seems to be struggling to win and I gave him numerous injury but none seem to be fatal. I tried again but again he move too slowly and he got another wound. We keep repeating the same thing, him trying, I giving him small wounds, and the process when on forever till Hades was a deathly white did I called on Ky to join me and signals for Ian and Xander to play even sleeper music. The process when on forever till Ky and me were tired to the bone and Hades a sicky green did we both together dealt the final bow.

"DIE!" We shouted together as he fell in a crumpled ball at our feet. We had won and Ky and me both fainted from blood loss and tiredness.
