As Gomfalion entered the throne room, Alteon stood up and they gave each other a bear hug. They began talking to each other.
"It's been years, Gomfalion," Alteon said. "I'm glad we met again."
"I am just as glad as you are, my king," Gomfalion said as he attempted to kneel down.
"No need to kneel," Alteon said, and Gomfalion stood up again. "So, what brought you to Swordhaven?"
"Our island was attacked by the same army," Gomfalion mentioned. "Our captain was kidnapped, and now I am seeking him, however I also wanted to find out who lead the Shadowscythe, and I was informed that it was a man named Sepulchure, in other names, Valen."
"That's correct," Alteon said. "What island did they attack?"
"Lolosia," Gomfalion replied. "I sailed there when I left Dreadhaven."
"I see," Alteon said. "Now, you must help protect me from this... man... I mean, he isn't even a man anymore! Sepulchure has become a powerful undead monster! He must be stopped."
And so Gomfalion stood beside Alteon on his throne, with Alteon's bodyguards on the sides. They anticipated Sepulchure's entrance. Soon enough, they heard two bangs on the door. The door was cut by a blade and it was kicked open. Three people entered the room. One of them was Sepulchure. He had a minion beside him. The other was a man in red with a runed sword. Gomfalion realized it was Chizet, the man he fought during the attack at Lolosia.
Everyone made ready. Alteon pointed his golden sword forward, and his two bodyguards charged at Sepulchure. As soon as they were in reach, Sepulchure's right eye glowed brighter as he pointed his sword forward. A bunch of skulls blasted up from the ground, hitting one of the guards, breaking his ribs. To the other guard, Sepulchure pointed his blade, and the guard began shaking. A spell was casted on him and he exploded. Alteon and Sepulchure charged at each other while Gomfalion and Chizet did the same.
The battle had begun. Sepulchure and Alteon clashed swords. Sepulchure banged his sword twice on Alteon. Alteon defended. Sepulchure then grabbed Alteon's neck and threw him in the air. He jumped and slashed him down to the floor. Alteon recovered. He then pointed his sword to Sepulchure and a flash of lightning from the sword struck Sepulchure and blasted him to the wall. Sepulchure then pointed his arm forward and he bursted an arcane blast, colored red and black. Alteon kneeled down and put his sword in front of him. An arcane shield surrounded him and the blast hit the shield. The blast of Sepulchure disappeared. The two stared at each other menacingly.
Meanwhile, on the the other side of the room, Gomfalion and Chizet began their own battle. Gomfalion brought out his musket and slammed it on Chizet. Chizet defended. He punched Gomfalion with his free hand. Gomfalion pushed himself back, and while he did, he kicked Chizet and rolled on the floor, and stood back up on his feet. Chizet charged to Gomfalion. Gomfalion attempted to bash him with his musket, but Chizet dodged the attacked as he slid on the floor, ending up on the other side. Gomfalion pulled out his handgun and turned around. He managed to shoot Chizet successfully, but the bullet landed only on his hip. Gomfalion dropped his handgun and pointed his musket at Chizet, who was kneeling on the floor with his sword planted on the ground.
"Sepulchure, your reign of terror ends with my next strike!" Alteon screamed.
"YES, I WILL HEAR YOU YELL IN PAIN AS WE END THIS!" Sepulchure said in a menacing voice.
"You got lucky last time, Gomfalion. I spared you," Chizet said. "But now, you fall. I will see to that."
"You may have eyes, but you cannot see to anything," Gomfalion replied.
Chizet stood up. "I WILL SEE YOU DIE!"
All four of them charged at each other. They clashed swords, and each person tried to overpower the other. All of them, were on the brink of killing each other.
Meanwhile, outside the castle, in the Shadowscythe's fortress, a woman in red armor with red hair looked out the top window of the castle. She saw the four people in Alteon's throne room. They were fighting each other to the death. Suddenly, she felt a great pulse from behind the castle. She then noticed a purple figure that was rushing to the castle. As it landed in the throne room, it appeared to be a man... with black wings.
The man landed in the throne room. He had purple armor and a purple sword. On his chest, had some sort of amulet attached to his armor, with a creepy eye in the middle. He revealed his face, and it turned out to be no other than Drakath, the former prince of Dreadhaven.
"DRAKATH!?" Everyone screamed.
Drakath smirked. He slashed his sword on Sepulchure, pushing him to the back wall, and he did the same to Alteon, to the front wall. Alteon was weakened, and he then noticed the same eye on Drakath's chest was on his shoulder.
"W-What?" Alteon stuttered.
Sepulchure stood up, unharmed.
"Fool, you cannot kill what is already undead," Sepulchure said.
"My mistake," Drakath said. He flew to Sepulchure with his long claws and pierced his chest. Sepulchure was stunned. Drakath pulled his heart out. But surprisingly, Sepulchure's undead spirit allowed him to stay alive.
"I am darkness! I am doom!" Sepulchure said. "No force on this world can destroy what I am! Long unlive the Shadowscythe!"
Sepulchure attempted to attack Drakath, but Drakath crushed the heart in his hand. Sepulchure kneeled down. As he fell to the ground, he exploded. The girl from the Shadowscythe's fortress noticed the explosion and she began to tear up.
"FATHER! NO!!!" she said.
Drakath went out the window. The girl looked at him from the fortress with a revengeful face.
"Sepulchure has a daughter?" Drakath asked himself. "Amusing."
Drakath created a ball of purple fire on his hand and shot it at the flying fortress. It began to fall, and it crashed somewhere around the mountains.
"The battle between good and evil is over," Drakath said. "Now begins the Age of Chaos!"
Drakath turned and smirked at Alteon.
"What... have you done?" Alteon said.
"Heh, not feeling like yourself, king?" Drakath said. "You and this pathetic hero aren't going to stop me from what I am about to do to this world. Watch as my lords of chaos destroy everything you love. I will save you two for the last. HAHAHA!!"
Drakath flew out of the castle. Gomfalion rushed to Alteon.
"You... Please... You must search for the crash site of the Shadowscythe's fortress," Alteon said.
"Wait, what?" Gomfalion was confused.
"Drakath... He's... Too powerful," Alteon explained. "Good and Evil must... come together. I will contact the empress and organize a truce..."
Gomfalion stood up and walked to Chizet. They smirked at each other and shook hands. They reunited with Kitri and Gamzati and explained Chizet's innocence, and discussed their plans to seek the crash site of the flying fortress.
And so, Gomfalion, Gamzati, Chizet, and Kitri set off to find the crash site of the flying fortress to negotiate the truce. What happened to Drakath? How did he become so powerful? What is chaos? Will the truce prevail?
