I groan. I try to open my eyes but they are still heavy. All I could see is darkness and metal bars.
"Where am I? What happen?" I groan.
I try to stand up but I couldn't as I hear chains. My senses come back to me. My mad uncle, Sis, Amelia.
"WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY." I scream
I shake the bars of the cage furiously. I keep shaking them, hoping that they will come off.
"You wasting your time, dear nephew."
"I'm not a nephew of a monster like YOU!" I reply
"You'll always been a nephew of mine even if you hate it."
I stare at him with eyes full of furry. I see the tall shadow mocking me like I'm sort of creature stuck in a cage. My mind full of rage, but there is nothing I could do.
"Where is Sis and Amelia?" I ask.
"Don't worry about them, my guinea pig." He smiles.
He moves closer to me. He is so close I can feel his breath,
"Um, do you know what is personal space."
"You reek of half blood." He sneers at me.
He kick my cage, the irons bar shakes and it makes a rattling noise. The sound scare me but I can't really see what is happening.
"I'll be going now, my dear guinea pig. Be good."
"Come back! Let me out!"
All I heard was footstep fading in the darkness. I try to find my way out. I check my pockets and my coat, until I found a knife with a note in it.
"When you are in trouble slide the handle."
I look at note confuse, I try to look who the note is from, but I couldn't find anything. I slide the handle and the knife glows a golden colour and a beam of light appear. The beam is white with golden swirls. I can feel the beam heat radiating on my skin. I swing the beam around and it cuts the bars. I slide the handle and its revert back to a knife. I tuck the knife in my boot. I crawl out of the cage. Its really dark, I keep walking and I bumped into a wall.
"Ow, a wall. A wall!"
I feel the wall for a light switch, I feel bumps and lumps and...
"A light switch!"
I flick the light switch. The light blink and flooded the room.
"As Calvin says: Let there be light!"
The room is a bit dim. I see the cage with the whole I cut through. I see a table, I walk towards the table it have notes of past half bloods. I flick through some pages until a photo drops on the floor. Photos of my family. I pick up the photo.
"Mum, Dad, Sis. I miss you."
Tears prickle down my cheek and it landed on the cold floor.
"This is no time to be sobbing, I need to get out of here."
I dry my tears and I run out the door. The other side is a very narrow hallway with lots of door. I walk down the hallway. It is very dark and narrow. I can just squeeze through. I keep walking, until I see dim lantern lights, lighting up the hallway.
"Finally some light!" I thought
I keep walking hoping that I'm walking the right way. I hear footsteps coming closer and closer. I panic and try to find a place to hide. I see a door, I open it, then quietly close it as quickly as possible. I remain quiet and look through the crack on the wall, to see who it is. Obviously is my so called 'uncle'.
"I can't wait to start testing on my little guinea pig." He says happily.
I keep watching my uncle's movements hoping he doesn't open this door, or look through this crack. My palms are sweating and my heart is pounding. The footsteps get softer and fades away. I open the door slowly and look both ways before making my way out. When I find the coast is clear, I keep walking (more like speed walking.) I stumble upon some stairs,
"How deep underground are we?!" I thought.
I start climbing the stairs. As I climb, the surroundings become brighter and brighter. Until I can see sunlight. I run out, thinking I'm finally outside, but I'm not. I see a glass dome above me that pour the room with natural light.
"Where am I?!"
I look for an exit, all I see are stone walls. There are no windows either (well except the giant glass dome above me). I walking around the room, I lean on the wall. Creak. I see an exit opening up.
"A secret exit. Thank you!"
I run towards the exit and I see a switch next to the exit, I flick it and the passage close. In front of me there are stairs. I start sprinting up the stairs. I can smell freedom.
"Hello, my, my... little guinea pig escape its cage. We can play the game of hide and seek. Oh this is so fun."
My face turn pale. I lost the smell of freedom.
"I'll give you 5 hours to escape, if you can't escape in 5 hours. You'll have to own up. Okay? Wait I can't hear you so I'll assume you said okay. Your 5 hours starts now."
I quickly sprinted up the stairs. I am in another room. The room is cover with lasers. I look around, I feel the walls.
"Ow!"
The wall burn me. So I can't run on the wall. I keep thinking of a way of getting through the lasers. I'll just have to dodge the lasers. I examine a route I can take.
"This game is rigged!"
I keep examining the lasers. I found a route, but it is risky. I take a few steps away, and run towards the laser. I jump over the first beam. I place my right hand between the first and second beam. I use my right hand to lift myself up the air again, I slide myself between the fourth beam. I am just under the fifth beam, my legs and still under the fourth beam. I slide through the sixth beam. There's a little room between the fifth and sixth beam. I do a handstand and I jump over the seventh beam. I fall over to bridge across to the eighth beam. (gymnastic pose the bridge.) I slide under the ninth and tenth beam. There's enough room to stand up. I look at the behind me, I past half way. I can't dodge the laser.
"This is the risky bit."
I jump to the wall, and run on the wall. I can feel my shoes melting under my feet. I keep running until I reach the end. I look at myself to see if I have an injuries. I look down at my shoes. I take my shoes and toss them aside and climb up the stairs. I grab the knife and put in in my pocket.
"Okay I'm pumped! Bring it!"
