To Tell You the Truth - Aurelia :L

Dear Diary,

Well, I feel like I should introduce myself to you because no one will ever see what I've written in here; diaries are private, right? Right. So there's no reason that I should be afraid to put down everything and anything in here.

First off, my name is Aurelia Simmons. You probably know me as Kayla Ashton's idiotic cousin who tags along with The Snakes. But I'm more than that. I'm a pureblood witch (um, duh, I'm one of The Snakes; of course I'm going to be a pureblood). If you haven't guessed that I'm a Slytherin, then you're dafter than everyone thinks I am. That's pretty daft considering I once overheard Kayla say to one of her friends-I'm almost positive it was Natalie Smith-that she didn't understand how I wasn't in Hufflepuff. I swear I saw red. Only the fact that Kayla is my cousin stopped me from going and ripping her head off.

That's another part of me that you should probably know about. I have a wee bit of an anger issue. Okay, you caught me, it's more that a wee bit; it's a huge problem. My mother tried to make me take anger management classes once when I was ten. She turned purple. I swear it was an accident though! I never do the things I do when I'm mad on purpose. It's just, I tend to see red over the littlest of issues and then my ears start ringing, and after that I sort of lose conscious thought. I guess you could parallel my "issue" with that of being possessed; I have no clue what I'm doing and I never remember it afterwards.

Another thing about me is that I'm truly really intelligent. I was almost sorted into Ravenclaw, but then the Sorting Hat saw all of the terrible things that I've done in my past (I'm not proud of any of them) and decided that I would be a nuisance in Ravenclaw . It called me cunning, sly, deceptive, controlling, unruly, stubborn (actually bullheaded was the term it used) and downright angry. It said that I would be a better fit in Slytherin with all of those characteristics. Boy, was it wrong...
