Soulmates

Chapter 1

Lily PoV

Another year Hogwarts started today. My fifth year to be exact. I waved goodbye to my family and entered the Hogwartsexpress. But instead of searching for my friends like the last years I went to the prefect's compartment. Yes, I was a prefect. My parents were very proud of me, but my sister just shouted 'Freak' at me, like always. When I told my best friend Alice Fortescue she wasn't surprised at all. But enough of this. I entered the prefect compartment to find Remus Lupin already sitting there. I guessed he's the other Gryffindor prefect. "Hey Rem, how was your Holliday?", I greeted him. "Oh, nothing special I stayed most of the time with James and Sirius", he told me. At this very moment my mood changed from good to bad. Why did he mentioned Black? I hated this bastard! Not only that he changed his 'girlfriends' like underwear, no he had to ask me out everytime he saw me. As if! Remus must have realised that mentioning Black wasn't a good idea, so he tried to change the subject: "And how was your Holliday? Didn't you say you'd go to Barcelona?" "Yes, it is a great city! I love it there and it is so much warmer there than here!"

Soon after talking about our Hollidays the other prefects joined us and the headboy Thomas Diognes, a Hufflepuff, explained us our jobs. After that I went to find the girls and soon I found them.  Alice hugged me the very moment I entered their compartment. "Lils, were have you been? We're already half way to Hogwarts", she exclaimed. "Al, I already told you that I made prefect this year", I reminded her. "Oh right...", she said. After Alice let go of me, Marlene McKinnon, Emmeline Vance and Docras Meadows hugged me. Next we talked about our Hollidays but right after I ended the marauders  came in and the first thing Black had to do was asking me out. Again. "I WILL NEVER GO OUT WITH YOU BLACK! LEAVE ME ALONE!", I shouted at him. He really looked a bit afraid, but only a second later he was grinning the typical maraudergrin again. "C'mon mate, we shoud go", Remus said to save the situation and they really left.

A few hours later we arrived at the train station in Hogsmeade. We got off the train fast so we could take the first carriege to the castle. It looked as amazing as always. I had to check myself not to dwell in memories again. It was only a short ride to the castle so we quickly sat on our housetables. Unfortunately Marls, Emmy and Docras were Ravenclaws so we couldn't sit with them. At least I got Al. Without her I might have murderd the entire Gryffindorhouse by now. We watched the first years getting sorted and cheered for every new Gryffindor. After that the feast started and I enjoyed the delicious meal the houseelves cooked for us. When everyone had finnished dinner it was my turn to take the new first years to our commonroom. I explained everything to them and then went to my dorm where Alice was already waiting. Because we both were tired and didn't want to speak with our dorm mates, who were the kind of girls wearing gallons of make-up, we went to sleep.
