Lily PoV

After Ancient Runes I had Divination and then I went to the libary. I still couldn't believe that Sirius should be my soulmate but I was determined to figure out more about this topic. Quickly I found a book with the title 'The history of Soulmates'. I spent the afternoon reading this book and found out that there are soulmates since the begin of the world. Mostly they're wizards but even some Muggles were Soulmates. It's a different kind of magic and together they can overcome death. Well, having a soulmate sounds great, but Sirius? Seriosly? I went back to the common room but on my way I met Professor McGonagall. "Ms. Evans, would you please come with me to the headmaster", she asked kindly. "Of course, but may I ask why." "I'll tell you in professor Dumbledore's office." The rest of the way we walked quietly and when we arrived she said the password (chocolate frog) and we entered. "Good evening Ms. Evans, take a seat", the headmaster greeted me. "Good evening professor Dumbledore." "Ms. Evans, I think you wonder why I called you here. I will answer your question. Ms. Evans, I'm sorry to tell you, that your parents were killed last night. One Death Eater was caught there, he's at the ministry right now and soon he'll be send to Azkaban", he told me the horrible news. I felt tears in my eyes and then I broke down. I could feel McGonagall hurrying to me and hug me. "Who- who did it?" "They caught Orion Black, but they think they were at least to others." "Wh- what about my sister?", I sobbed. "She wasn't at home. If you want to you can visit her tomorrow", Dumbledore sugggested. "I- I don't know, Sir. I think I'll write her first." "Okay, just tell me if you need anything." "Thank you Sir." "Now try to get some sleep. See you tomorrow." So I went back to my dorm. The others were already asleep, but I couldn't. So I went to the Astronomytower. I always go there when I'm upset or when I need to think. But when I got there someone was already sitting there.

Sirius PoV

After Muggle Studies and Divination I went to the Astronomytower. I always go there when I need to think or when I'm upset. I sat there the whole afternoon and evening and even when the night came I didn't went back. After some time I heard footsteps behind me and when I turned around I saw right into the beautiful green eyes of Lily Evans. "What are you doing here?", I asked her. Just then I noticed that she was crying. "Hey, what happend?", I said while walking towards her and put my arms around her. "My parents were murdered", she sobbed. "I'm so sorry. Do you know who it was?" "Your father." "What my father?" "Yes." "I really am sorry Lily. Do you know where you're staying over the summer holidays?" "No." "Well, I'd offer you to stay with me, but I don't think that would be a good idea. Maybe you can stay with James? His parents adopted me like a son, I think they'd love you too." "Thanks, but for now I just want to mourn about my parents, so shut up." For the rest of the night we sat there in silence arm in arm.
