Lily PoV

It was the day of the funeral and I was standing infront of the mirror of our dorm. I was wearing a knee-length, black dress and a little bolero jacket. My hair was a little curled and I had a little make up on. "Come on Lily! We have to go now, or we'll be late", Sirius shouted from down the common room. "Coming", I replied with a last glance into the mirror. "Wow, you look beautiful", he compimented me. "Thanks, you don't look bad yourself", I said. And it was true he looked quiet handsome in his black suit with the white shirt. "Shall we?", he asked guiding me through the portraithole and further to Dumbledore's  office because we'd be taking the floo network to get to Cokeworth, my hometown.  We knocked twice and the headmaster asked us to come in. "Ah Ms. Evans and Mr. Black. Here you go", he said while handing us some floo powder. "Thank you, sir", I answered. "And remember to come back before midnight", he reminded us before we stepped into the chimney. A moment later we arrived in my house (Dumbledore connectet it to the floo network for today). It looked horrible. All the furniture were laying all other the floor and most of them were broken. "C'mon Lily, let's get out of here", Sirius suggested and led me out of the house. Quietly we went through the silent streets of Cokeworth to the little church with the graveyard. Infront of the church I spottet my grandparents and friends from my parents, but I couldn't find Tunia. "Oh Lily, there you are! Come here dear", my grandma said and pulled me into a big hug.
"Lily! Why are you here? I told you to stay away! And you have the nerve to bring one of your sort here!", my sister yelled at me. "Petunia, calm down! You don't want to fight at your parent's funeral!", Grandma stepped in between us, "Lily, why don't you introduce your friend to us?" "Well this is Sirius Black, Sirius this is my sister Petunia and my grandma Heather", I introduced them. "Black? Wasn't that the guy who killed them? How can you bring him here?", Petunia screamed. "He is nothing like his father! And I brought him here because he's my friend!", I defended him. "Alright girls, why don't  we go into the chapel? The ceremony is about to start any moment", grandma suggested and so we went inside. After the prayer service we went outside again and buried them. I cried the whole time and hold Sirius' hand. It really helped me he was there. After they were buried, we went to the funeral feast to a little cafe. We didn't stay long though because of Petunia. After tea we went back to my house and flood back to Hogwarts. Dumbledore wasn't in his office when we arrived, so we just walked through the deserted castle to the Gryffindor commonroom. "Hey Sirius", I  suddenly said. "Yes?" "Thank you." "You're welcome. I enjoied spending time with you, even if it wasn't happy at all", he replied. I just smiled slightly at him and we continued our way. In the commonroom we found our friends, but as I didn't feel like talking I just walked past them to our dorm.
