Chapter 11

Sirius PoV

The nightmares about Lily getting tortured came back every night. Prongs and Moony got tired waking her up every other night and so I asked her to stay in our dorm and she agreed.
We conjured her an own bed next to mine, so she could wake me up if needed. And it was needed. Sometimes I thought about just pretending but I knew she'd get so angry that she'd throw me off the Astronomytower. And afterwards Prongs would kill me because I'd miss his first Quidditch tryouts as a captain. Speaking of that, I needed to change in my Quidditchrobes and then went to the pitch.

James PoV

Where the hell is Pads? He promised to be in time! I was nervous enough without him been missing. "Hey Jamie what's wrong?", questioned the sweet voice of Grace. "Nothing, it's just Sirius. He should be here by now", I replied. "You know Siri, when was he ever on time, huh?" "Yeah I know, I'm just worried and nervous." "Hey, what's up? I thought tryouts took place?", the all too familiar voice from my best friend appeard behind me. "Paddy! There you are! We waited just for you!", I exclaimed. "I thought you were captain, not I. But thanks for waiting anyways." "Oh just shut up! So hello everyone! So today we're going to find one new beater, one keeper, one seeker and two chasers. So give your best! Firstly seekers go other there, beaters to the left, keepers to the goals and chasers stay here", I announced. Then I divided them into teams and let them play against each other for the whole morning.
At lunchtime I ended the tryouts and announced the players who made it into the team: "So, our new keeper is Alexander Finch, our seeker is Jane Hunter, beaters are Sirius Black and Grace Dumbledore and chasers are Louisa Carter, Frederik Loop and I. You others did great too, but they were better. So Quidditch practice will be every Monday and Wednesday at 6 o'clock."

"You did great Jamie! You'll be the best captain ever!", Grace exclaimed. "Thanks Gracie, you did great too!" "C'mon you two, quit talking, there's food to be eaten", Padfoot said and begun running towards the great hall. "Still the same", Grace commented. "Yep, he'll never change!"

Lily PoV

Today was a prefect meeting because of hallowe'en.  We wanted to organize a party for the students from fifth year and upper years. Thomas had convinced Dumbledore that we could do it in the Greathall, so now we were talking about decorations and music. "We could request if the Weird Sisters could come", suggested Fiona Rems, a fith year from Ravenclaw. "Yeah, that'd be great!", Claire Greengrass , sixth year Slytherin, agreed. "Okay, I'm going to write to them, but what about decorations?", demanded Rubiana Banson, the headgirl from Gryffindor. "There defenetly should be  carved pumkins!", I said. "And the suits of armour could throw candy", added Remus. "And we could put up scary garlands", said Kenja Zabini, a seventh year Slytherin. "Yeah and maybe a firework", Alexander Brown (fifth year Hufflepuff) suggested. "Okay, we divide it up between the houses.  The Hufflepuffs will care about the pumkins, Ravenclaws will do the garlands, Slytherins will arrange the fireworks and the Gryffindors will ensure that there's candy thrown", Thomas splitted the duties.
