Chapter 15

"I'll be back" I say and walk into the kitchen. I sit down on the stool and put my head between my hands. "Are you okay?" I hear my dad say and I look up. "Umm yeah" I reply

I put another bag of microwaveable popcorn into the microwave and wait until its all popped. I grab a soda and head back into the living room only to see that Jason came back and he was still on his phone.

What is that boy doing? He better not be cheating on me. Well that would make breaking up with him easier. But we've been together for three years it'll be hard for him either way

I put a smile on my face and flop beside him. He immediately shuts his phone off and turns to me. "Hey, why aren't you watching with us?" I ask

"Because he's secretly watching porn on his phone" Jess yells and my eyes widen. "She's kidding" Jason says rolling his eyes and I giggle.

"Plus that wouldn't be any worse then secretly placing a camera in the boys locker room and watch them strip down in front of you" Jason says and Jess stands up to slap him across the face.

"Ow! Damn Jess calm down" he says.

"How come never heard of this!?" I say surprised at the news and she sighs. "Long story" she says and turns her attention back onto the tv.

After we settled down we continued to watch the movie. I was sitting on the couch with Jason's arm around me and my head on his shoulder. He would occasionally kiss me on my head and I would return it on his lips each time.

"Hey tomorrow can you show us around town?" Jess says after the movie was over. "Yeah I guess. Their isn't much to show" I say which wasn't a lie.

Jason was texting again when we were in the kitchen looking for snacks. "Jason, who are you talking to?" I ask and he looks up immediately. "Uhh no one. Noone" he stutters and I glare. "You are really bad at lying" I say and I reach out to grab his phone but he pulls it away just in time. "Give it" I say giggling but he doesn't. "Come on I want to see. If its no one then you wouldn't be afraid of letting me see" I say more serious this time

"It's just some business, you don't need to know, it's not very important" I could see that he was very annoyed. "Business?" What was that supposed to mean?

"Yeah business" he repeats and I sigh. "Babe. Come on. You know I wouldn't keep anything important from you" he says and stands up to kiss me but I turn my face.

"Audrey?" He says sounding worried. I saw Jess staring at us from the corner of the room but when she caught my eye she left.

"What?" I say playing dumb. Maybe this would be the perfect time to break up with him. "You're ignoring me" Jason says and I didn't say anything.

"I'm confused. I didn't know you would react like this to something that's not big of a deal." He says and I felt my blood boil.

"If its not a big of a deal then why can't you just show me?! It's like you can't trust me anymore" I say and he scratches his head.

"I can trust you" he whispers and I gulp.

"Well I don't trust you" I found myself saying. Maybe that was a little too much. I felt him staring at me and I fumble with my fingers

"It's like you're a whole other person" he says. "Well I'm not and if you can't see that then maybe we should just break up" I say and his eyes widen.

Well that's escalated quickly. Maybe I should dial it down a bit

"We can't just put three years down the drain" he says.

He's right

"Maybe you cant but i can" I say emotionless. I felt so heartless. I knew I was hurting him. "For all I know you could be cheating on me" I say and he laughs sarcastically. "You think this is funny?" I say getting mad. "Why would you think I'm cheating on you? I love you Audrey, I can't do that to someone I love" he says and I bite my lip.
