AUTUMN'S POV-
I shouldn't have gone home when I did. I don't fully remember everything that happened because it happened so fast, it was a blur. I remember I wasn't ever home for 2 minutes, when my parents came at me.
Now my head was throbbing and bleeding. My whole body ached, burned, cut, they both did anything they could to hurt me in anyway possible. I tried to stand up but my legs couldn't hold my weight with how much they're hurting, so I had to crawl up the stairs to my room.
It took me a while to make it fully up the stairs and I was exhausted by the time I made it to the top, I barley made it to my room. I laid on my floor, I'm not exactly sure if I could make up my bed. I closed my eyes as I laid there not moving anymore, basically unable to.

I woke up the next morning with my body in the same pain as I did last night. I rolled onto my stomach and crawled onto my bed, deciding I'm definitely not going to school. I sighed landing on the softness of my bed that helped my body relax. I took my purse off from my body setting it on the table next to me. I felt my eyelids get heavy again and I fell asleep.
MAY'S POV-
I was sitting in some kind of Economics class that I had no interest in. The only reason I'm in it is cause most of the other classes were full so they shoved me in here. I glanced over at the seat next to me that was empty because Autumn didn't come today. Carmen and I both tried calling her but her phone went straight to voicemail.
Last night she seemed like she was hiding something about her dad. She tried to cover for him and honestly she shouldn't have from the things he was calling her through the phone.

We were all laughing at a joke Matt just told when we heard ringing coming from where Autumn sat. I glanced down and saw her phone, I picked it up and saw it was her dad.
"It's her dad" I shrugged not thinking much of it when I answered it "Hel-"
"YOU BITCH! Who the fuck do you-" He screamed into the phone making me pull away from my ear and look at the rest. I clicked speaker so everyone could listen to what was happening "you're such a fucking slut! I swear you were just a mistake that I wish we would of put you up for adoption or better yet aborted you! You don't deserve to live, you're worthless!" He slurred
"Sir-" I tried to speak but he cut me off
"Useless trash that should just-" he continued and I hung up the phone quickly looking at it shocked
"What the hell just happened" Ryan questioned with so much shock in his voice
"Are you sure that was her dad?" Carmen looked at me and I nodded. Just then Autumn walked back in the room and sat down. She looked around all of us with a confused look shown on her face.
"What"

I shook my head and looked at the paper on the desk that I should be doing. I can't concentrate, I'm too worried for her. My mind was racing at why she didn't come to school. I remember when she didn't come to school last time claiming she was 'sick', Ryan told us he saw her at the store and her eye was messed up.
We were all worried for her, but she won't open up to us so we can give her the help she needs. I assumed it always had something to do with her parents, we've never met them. Autumn always claimed they were too busy or something. After last night though I'm sure her parents are hurting her. I've talked to Carmen about it and she agrees with me.
Adam also told me about the time he and the boys found her on the side of the road beat up. I told Carmen about that too. We were both shocked, how many times does she end up on the side of the road at nights. She never came to us for anything, but she always made sure we were okay no matter what.
I hope she's okay.
