AUTUMN'S POV-
I could barley move from how much pain I was in. I've been laying in my bed for two days and all I could focus on was my rib pains that happened whenever I moved. I hardly got up the stairs and into my bed to rest when my parents were done with me. It took me hours.
My phone had been going off for quite a while, I haven't talked to May or Carmen in the 2 days cause I couldn't reach it. I wanted to tell them I was fine and they shouldn't worry but I couldn't do that.
I heard knocking on my door from downstairs and groaned as I tried to move so I could answer. My stomach went into more pain and I started to cry from how bad it was, which only made it worse. I didn't hear the door open but next thing I knew my door was opening and 6 people were standing outside it.
"Oh my god, Autumn!" May cried and ran to my side along with Carmen while the boys just kinda rushed in. She tried to hug me but I screamed out and tried to push her away so she couldn't touch me
"What's wrong" Carmen asked leaning down and I shook my head and held my torso. They looked down and then at each other before lifting my shirt
"Holy fuck" I heard one of the boys muttered "I think her ribs are broken, look at how bruised they are"
I tried to calm down my breathing so the pain would settle. I tried to move so I was laying on my back again, but it only made me cry harder
"We need to get her to the hospital to make sure" Matt spoke up and I shook my head
"Autumn, you don't really have a say right now" May scolded "okay let's get her to a hospital"
"Look at the cuts on arms, and her bruises" I heard one of them mutter. I was in so much pain I couldn't tell who it was
Ryan came over and lifted me up. I groaned from the pain that ran through me. We walked down the stairs and he placed me in the back seat with my head on his lap while he rubbing my head.

I laid in a hospital bed waiting for the results of the x-rays on my ribs.
"What happened?" Carmen asked and I stayed quiet for a moment
"I fell down the stairs" I mumbled looking at my hands. I heard sighs across the room. It wasn't a full lie, I went down the stairs and I think that's what finally broke them. It might not have been on accident, but I still fell down the stairs.
"Stop... please just stop just tell us the truth so we can help" May sighed. Just then the doctor walked in with his clipboard in his hand.
"Ms. Finnly" the doctor started "it seems like you have fractured two ribs. Can I ask how this happened?"
"I fell down the stairs" I lied again
"Alright, well you need to stay rested, they should be healed in a couple weeks. You can try and ice it to help with the pain, but here are some pain killers to help." he explained and held up a small orange bottle giving it to me "As for all the cuts, just make sure they don't get infected, you don't need ointment. You're fine without it, but you can if you want to"
"Thank you sir, very much" I weakly smiled
"Make sure you guys keep an eye on her, she needs to be resting" he looked around the room and they all nodded. "Okay, well that's all. You guys are free to go" he smiled and walked out

"What actually happened" May asked as I laid on her couch. Her and Carmen sat in front of me, as the boys went to get us some food.
"I already-" I started
"Told us? That's bull shit! A lie! I'm tired of you lying to us about all this. All of us are worried Autumn... we just need to know what's actually happening" she sighed her eyes glossing over. I looked away, my eyes filling with tears.
"No... no you can't, I don't want any of you guys to get involved. It's not your issue, it's mine" I explained
"But you're getting hurt! Look at you, two fucking fractured ribs! Bruises and cuts all over your body, I can't remember the last time I didn't see a bruise on your face!" She shouts and the boys walked in just as she finishes with some tears streaming down her face.
"What's going on" Matt asked
"She won't tell us what happened" Carmen sighed. The boys set the food down on the table, walking into the room sitting down
"Autumn, it's started to really get serious, your bones are breaking" Adam pleads
"It's nothing, I'm just clumsy. I'll be fine" I say, not even convincing myself
"No you won't be, so please just let us help you" Carmen cried
"I need to get home to my parents-" I tried to sit up but something forced me back down. I hissed in pain looking up to see it was Ryan who held my shoulders down
"No you aren't getting up, you need to rest. Doctor's orders. And your parents can't be your excuse anymore, not this time. They've hardly been an excuse after your dad called. Just tell us the truth"
