I don't know why I decided I would take up the responsibility of being a troll slayer so quickly. It seemed right. It also appealed to me a wee bit too. I felt like it was my destiny. This may be what I was designed for.

Gomber says so. He thinks my skill in fighting proves that I'm worthy of it. I've already slayed one troll before any training. Imagine how many I could slay after training!

The door bell rings and Gomber gets it.

'It's Anne, Thalia.'

Before I know it I'm out of my lazy boy and racing to the door.

'Anne! Anne!' I yell.

'Whoah! Slow down!' she gasps as I knock the breath out of her in an excited hug.

'We have soooo much to talk about.'

'Anne, what news is there that I don't know?'

'This and that. '

'That is a big change from 'soooo much news'.'

she grins sheepishly.

'I meant I wanted to know about your troll!'

'Oh my god. Well...'

So I launched into a big tale about  the troll I slayed.

When I finished she just sat there, gobsmacked.

'Holy moly! You are good! Are you the slayer now?'

'Almost Definitely. '

'You rock Thalia! '

I grin.

'I know. '

Been on holiday. Sorry I took so long to update it. Sorry the chapter is so short. Anyway no more sorrys. How's the book so far? If you have any ideas for the next chapter then comment. But don't be sad if I don't use it.
