'What?!' I yelled, then snikkered. I had only known I was siblings with this guy for 5 minutes and we were already arguing.
'Do you want me to tell you why you left us?' He asked, sighing.
'Please,' I say, 'I would like an explanation.'
He sighed again then sank into his chair, he was almost lost from view, his chair was that fluffy. He then sat up again and prepared to tell me why.
'I was walking you in your buggy, just after you were born, I was about 12, so quite responsible. You started screaming, so picked you up out of the buggy and gently held you and rocked you back to sleep. I looked up and saw that we were a long way away from where I had thought we were.
The landscape I saw around me was mesmerizing. There were tall willow trees with their unique branches hanging down, making it look as if there was a giant rug lain out over the world.
I took us down a path and into the willows. We walked through then for a while then I stopped the buggy and walked around the other side of a tree to see if there was a river nearby time get a drink from.
I was just about to go back to your buggy when I heard a rustling in the branches. Something landed in the earth with a thud. Running fast (all though I only had to run a short distance around the tree) I sprinted to the buggy. Too late. There was the buggy, but you were gone.'
By this point I had tears pouring out of my eyes. Gomber looked up in astonishment.
'Why, are you crying?'
'It's, (sniff) just, (sniff) so sad (sniff).'
I'm such a baby. I know.
'Carry on Gomber.'
'That's it. After that I went home and told the family. There was a big hahoo about it. We went back a few times and looked for you, but we knew it was useless. You had been taken. And you were never coming back.'

Sorry to leave you with such a cliff hanger. It's not too big, but I figured it would be useful. The chapters are quite short. Do you want them to be longer?
