Three weeks have passed since Fred told me I was a Gliff. Since then, I have been taught some stuff about Gliffs by Mum. Apparently, some Gliffs (if they are girls) will be as tall as any usual human.
I have also been told that there is a very cunning wizard that wants to catch Gliffs. He has trolls working for him. That explains the trolls who caught us for 'Boss'.
I find all this information a bit overwhelming. I am MENT to have magical powers. My dad (Michael) is going to give me lessons on how to control it. I really need those lessons soon. The other day I accidentally blew up my breakfast bowl. All the kids thought it was mighty funny.
It wasn't so funny when Mum blew up their bowls then made them clean it up. I laughed at them and she made me wash the dishes. I hate washing the dishes so I need to get my powers sorted to avoid doing them in the future.
I am going to lose my mind. I will, all this information is going to make me blow up other things like my head maybe.
At the moment I am sitting in the living room with Gomber. There is a chess board layed out between us. I'm not going to talk about it. I'm losing severely.
Gomber moves his queen and takes two of my pawns. Just as I'm about to pick up my king and move it toward one of his horses, there is the sound of the door being thrown open.
Gomber goes out into the hall and peers around the corner at the door.
I get up to go see what is there but I hear an OOF! and then I see Gomber pulled around the corner.
I run quickly to the door to see if he was alright. I round the corner and find myself face to face with a troll.

Sorry it has been so long since an update! Anyway, what does this mean? Why was there a troll in the house? And, why would a troll take Gomber?
