Chapter 12 - My first training session.

Gomber got me up at 4:00 this morning. 4:00!!! I didn't know it was possible to get up so early.

He took me to the training room. It was quite an mangled room. I guess many others had trained in there before me. There were chairs that had been broken into many pieces, there were dents in the walls, a gem that looked like a diamond had been shattered.

I reach out to touch it but Gomber pulls my hand away.

'Don't touch that.'

We carry on through the room to the back. It looked like we had stepped through into a different room. It was immaculate. The floor and walls were spotless. There was nothing in this area but a small desk in the corner and a clip board on it.

Gomber pulls over a chair with only 3 legs and sits down on it at the desk.

'Your time starts now.'

Huh!? Time? Now? What does he mean?

'Show me what you can do with your powers.'

Ohhhhhhh......... Ok

I wave my hand in the air and say 'abracadabra'.

Gomber puts his head in his hand.

'Oh my gosh...'

I laugh then shut up, realising that this was not a time for being an idiot.

I look at the clipboard and imagine it lifting up and shacking Gomber in the face. I lose concentration and laugh. Something clatters onto the ground. Gomber looks shocked and puts his hand to his forehead. He grunts in pain.

Damn it! I hurt him. I rush over,

'Oh my god! Are you ok?'

He just stares at me, bewildered.

'So much force...'

Ummm, I think I gave him brain damage.

'So much magic...'

Oh god.

'So strong...'

Help me!

'Are you tired?'

What have I done?

'Aren't you tired?'

Why would I be tired?

'ANSWER MY QUESTION THALIA!'

Whoops.

'ARE YOU TIRED???!!!!'

'Err... no.'

'Magical...'

Umm.

'How did you do it?'

What a dumb question.

'ANSWER THE...'

'OK, OK! I.... um, imagined you being hit on the head by a clipboard.'

'Seriously.'

'Yup.'

'Imaginative magic.'

'Umm.'

That obviously wasn't an intentional pun.

'Right you are an imaginer and you are already the most powerful gliff in the world, the imagineers are the most powerful of the gliffs. now if you add them together then you get you. the most powerful gliff of all time. More powerful then the QUEEN!
