All Hallow's Eve

Last night was my annual Halloween party. I love parties- throwing them, going to them. I love to have people around and this year Will brought his girlfriend, the girls dressed up and even Lindsey seemed to have fun. I had the food and drinks all laid out and ready to go, the music was on and the lights were low. It was so beautiful.

Halloween Day

Hours before the party, Lindsey came down the stairs in his usual attire and I glared at him.
"Where's your costume?" I pointed my finger at him, narrowing my eyes.
"Oh, come on Steph! You know I don't dress up!" He whined and it was truly so pathetic.
"But you promised" I was fussing over some things on the table for no reason. I'm just nervous.
"Next year. Next year I will dress up but tonight I'm going to be Lindsey Buckingham"
"Boring..." I say and he tortures me with a tickle attack. He starts laughing because I'm laughing then he kisses my hair. "Fine, but next year you have to"
"I will, I promise"
"Alright" I turn to go back up the stairs and he catches me again, kissing my neck and chest. "Lindsey, please. I have to finish getting ready. The guests will be here"
"You look perfect" He continued to kiss me and well, I'm sure you know what happened after that.

The guests arrived and I was dressed in my signature witch costume because what's more fun than being a witch? Lindsey was wearing all black and looked undeniably sexy, my sweet girl Stella was in her adorable fairy costume and Lee even dressed up! I was shocked considering she put up so much of a fight. Will and his girlfriend arrived in a couples costume- Frankenstein and his bride. I was so excited to get this show on the road. It was sure to be a long one!

The next morning I awoke without much of a headache which was shocking. Everyone was handing me drinks all night long and with my nerves I just continued to down them one after another. I can't even remember coming to bed last night. My clothes were strewn all over the bedroom and Lindsey was still pretty much on top of me.
I pushed him hard, trying to wake him up. I could hear him snoring loudly in my ear and I needed relief. His eyelashes fluttered.
"Good morning gorgeous"
"Good morning to you too baby. What happened last night?"
"You don't remember?" He asked, getting off of me and sitting up on his side of the bed. I shook my head. "Mama, you were a wild cat!"
I blushed. "Oh god, did I embarrass myself?" He shook his head.
"No, I took real good care of you"
"Oh, I bet you did" my tone was seductive and he picked up on it instantly. We started making out like we did when we were teenagers in the back of his car again. When things were getting hot and heavy we were interrupted by Stella and Lee Lee barging through the door. I pulled the covers up around myself as I was very very exposed.
"Jesus, girls!" Lindsey exclaimed. "Can we help you? We were..busy"
"Gross!" Lee Lee yelped. "She took my earrings!"
"I did not! You gave these to me last year. I can get my journal. I wrote it down, I can prove it! Don't you believe me?" Stella stared at me desperately and I looked at her a moment. "Is that true, Lee? Did you give them to her?"
Lee Lee hesitated. "Okay, I did give them to her but I want them back. I like them again"
"That's not fair! Please, mommy, help me!"
Lindsey and I sighed. "Honey, Lee Lee...I know you like them again but you gave them to your baby sister and she loves them so much. Can't you wear a different pair of earrings? It's not fair to take them back when you gave them away"
"Fine" LeeLee says, feeling defeated. "You can keep them, you little brat" She stomped out of the room and slammed the door.
Stella was in tears and with the covers still between them and I took the girl into her arms. "Do you want me to talk to her?"
"She's been so mean to me lately. I thought we were getting along again but I guess not."
"Oh honey, things will get better. Lee Lee is taking everything a lot harder than you and your brother. Why don't you let me get dressed up and we can go have breakfast just the two of us and maybe do a little shopping"
"But, I have school!"
"Well, I noticed you haven't been feeling well so maybe I should call you in sick" I winked at her and Stella threw her arms back around me.
"You're the best!"
"When you're finished getting ready honey, I will call a car and we can go downtown in about an hour."
"Thank you, I love you"
"I love you too, sweet girl"
