A Vampire Wonderland

Chapter three

I woke up in a hospital. I saw two doctors and three nurses circled around me. One of the nurses saw that i was awake and pointed it out to one of the doctors. The doctor td everyone else to leave the room so that it was just me and him.

"Well Cole, you survived a pretty nasty crash"

Cole. Hearing that felt like hearing nails on chalkboard. The last time i heard it was the car crash. I felt like screaming when i heard my name. Then i thought of something, i would go by my middle name, Al. For two reasons, one, so i never feel that pain again, two, to show and pay my respect for my brother.

"Actually, i prefer Al"

"Alrighty. Anyways, you have got some peculiar marks on your neck. Any idea of what they are from?"

And thats when i remembered the vampire. i couldn't tell the doctor about it because he would just send me ti an insane asylum.

"No clue"

"Ok well we took the liberty of cleaning the mark out. We are thinking a snake bit you because there was some sort of venom going through your blood cells. We cleaned that out to. It didn't spread that much so it was no problem."

"Oh ok thanks."

"Is there anyone we should call? are you wanting to see anyone?"

"The people i wanna see are dead"

"I know, and i am very sorry. But are there any other family members or close family friends that you can stay with?"

Nope. My family hated me and we were terrible at making friends. But i wasn't about to let the doctor know that.

"Umm i have somewhere to go but there is no need to call them. I can just drive there easy peasy."

"Umm alright. We are going to have to keep you for an extra couple of days just to make sure you have full recovery"

"Alright thanks"

"Ok i am going to leave for a little bit but i will be right back. One of the nurses will be right in"

"Ok"

So he left and a couple of minutes later a nurse came in. A male nurse to be exact.

"Hello Cole. My name is Calvin."

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

"I much prefer Al"

"Oh ok i am sorry. Hello AL"

"Hello"

"Ok so we did some tests on that venom we took out of your body and it didn't come from a snake. It came from a man. We found the exact venom inside of the man that your father tried to avoid''

The vampire.

It had to be! there is no other explanation! the venom was from a man, it was in the same man that i fought with, what else?

"Can i see him?"

Please stop me from talking.

"For what reason"

ok this is the time to say never mind.

"Just to see if he is alright"

Crap.

"Alright just let me grab a wheelchair for you"

"I can walk"

"Yes, but, you are very weak. You lost a lot of blood"

"Oh. Well thanks then"

Ge left and came back with a wheelchair.

"Alright can you just sit up and then i will help you onto the chair."

"Ok"

And he did exactly that. Once i was in the chair he wheeled me into a room about three away from mine. I saw the vampire.

"Hello mr. ulah"

"Oh hello nurse. Who is this?"

He had a Transylvanian accent.

"This is the only survivor from the car accident"

then he recognized me. And i could swear that for a second, his eyes turned a bright red.

"Oh hello young boy"

"Hi"

"My name is Drake. Drake Ulah."

Sounds a lot like Dracula.

"Im Al. Al Wonder"

"Quite the interesting name you have got there, Al"

He shot me i look. It was part I'm going to kill you and part i killed your family.

I guess the nurse noticed something weird was going on because he stepped in.

"Well, Al just came to make sure you are alright"

"Oh that is very kind. I am feeling much better. Before i felt like someone stabbed me with a crowbar"

He shot me that look again. I just smiled.

"Alright well Al and i should get going. Get well soon mr. Ulah, i will see you later."

"Goodbye. And nice meeting you, Al"

Then the Calvin wheeled me out.

"What was that all about?"

"What do you mean?"

"The looks you two where giving each other!"

"What are you talking about?"

"There is something between you two isn't there?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about"

"Im sure there is and I'm gonna find out what!"

And then he walked away. Well, he ran.

Even though i hate Drake i need to make sure the thing between us is a secret. So i rolled back into the room.

"Back for more beating, Al?"

"No. But i have to warn you about something"

"Oh?"

"I know we hate each other but that nurse will ask you what is between us. Keep it a secret or the last thing you will see is my face and a knife"

"Oh you are a brave boy threatening a man quite older than you"

"Ya. And it makes me even braver that i am threatening a vampire, doesn't it?"

"Yes quite. Now run along, you don't want to miss nap time, or dinner"

I gave him a your dead to me look and rolled out.
