A Vampire Wonderland

Chapter six

Owl had called me and asked me to come over after school. I told him sure and we hung up.

I decided that i may as well go to school today. Can't avoid this forever.

So i walked to school. When i got there EVERYONE was staring at me like a saved the world. Then i came across something, everyone was watching me fight Drake. So that means everyone saw his hand go through me. I have ti think of something. He missed? that will have to do for now. Is that why everyone was staring at me?

"Hey Al, what happened yesterday? mr Burrow got so pissed man!"

"Al mr Burrow is gonna kill you!"

"Al! good luck in Math today! your gonna need it!"

These were all things people were yelling at me. I guess that is why they are starring. Thank god.

The first two periods the teachers eyed me as if i were a helpless mouse and they were hawks. Lucky for me, I'm not even close to helpless. I shot them the what the hell do you want look and they backed off.

It was time for math.

I wasn't scared. Not even close. I just found out i was a spirit for petes sake!

"Ah Al. I wasn't expecting you today."

"Ya and i bet you weren't expecting being pushed down by one of your student either, were you?"

"No, no i was not. Can i speak to you out in the hall for a second, Al?"

And then i saw it. The red flash in his eyes. Vampire. I looked over at Owl, he was writing something in his notebook.

"Whatever you want to say to me you can say to all of us"

"Yes, but i would much rather do it in privacy."

"Fine"

I got up. I was prepared to fight him. Wether he wanted to do the same. Vampires killed my family. Vampires had to die.

When i stepped out in the hall i looked both ways to see if anyone was in the hall. All clear. What a coincidence!

Mr Burrow pulled me away from the classroom door.

"I know what you are Al"

"And i know what you are"

"And you know what goes on between Vampires and spirits, don't you?"

"Sure do"

"Good. Meet me tonight at-"

The i punched him. I ran ti the class and called Owl. He instantly shot up and came running over.

"Al whats up?"

"Mr Burrow is a vampire. Get the class outside. Any spirits in the class?"

"Yes two"

"Who?"

"May and Maxum"

"Who's Macum?"

"Big guy. Considered a bully"

"Oh him"

"Want them to stay?"

"Up to them now hurry!"

He rushed back in the classroom and i ran up to mr Burrow. He was still on the ground. Taylor and Maxum ran up to me.

"Need help?"

"Up to you"

"Take that as a yes"

Then they disappeared.

"Hey where did you guys go?"

"Just believe and you can"

"Believe what?"

"Believe to disappear dumb-ass"

Yup. Thats Maxum for ya.

All of a sudden i felt a warm breeze and i could see May and Maxum.

"What just happened?"

"You just entered the spirit world. No one but spirits can see or hear us. But we can see, hear, touch and smell everyone else. They can still touch and smell us though. Sadly for us, vampires have an incredible sense of smell."

"So we can still fight them?"

"Yes"

"Then lets get started!"

I took a step toward mr Burrow. He stood up and started sniffing. His head shot straight at me. He looking right into my eyes. And something strange happened. He walked straight through me! i thought that he could still smell and touch me!

"Al what just happened?!"

"I don't know May!"

"Dude! your a super spirit!"

"Maxum what does that mean?!"

"Fight now, explain later!"

"right"

I walked toward mr Burrow and kicked him in the no no zone. He swung back. Went straight through me. I punched hime in the face. He tried to return the favour. Failed miserably.

"What i wouldn't do for my crowbar!"

Then my crow bar popped up right in front of my face.

"When you a ask for an object in the spirit world it appears"

"Thanks for the tip May!"

"No problem"

I took my crowbar and stabbed mr Burrow right in the heart. He stopped moving. He was dead.

"Oh thank god"

"Ok Al exit the spirit world. Just believe."

And then a cold gust of wind hit me. I was in the real world again. And i saw mr Burrow on the ground. With a crowbar in his chest, bleeding all over the hallway floor.

I saw Owl running down the hall in our direction.

"You guys ok?"

"Ya im fine"

"Yep Al did it all"

"Al? you did this? all of it? no help?"

"yep"

"Owl you will never believe it!"

"believe what Maxum?"

"AL is a super spirit!"

"a what?"

" you know how even when we are in the spirit world our enemies can still touch us regular spirits?"

"ya"

"well they just go straight through Al!"

"no way! there has only been one other super spirite! i believe his name was William Wonder"

"your kidding"

"when it comes to this kind of stuff Al, i don't kid. why would you think i would kid?"

"because, that is my grandfather"

" OMG is he stil alive?"

" i hope so May i really do. he was kidnapped a year and a half ago. police gave up after a month. and i am starting to think i know who took him."

and then Owl. Maxum and May all said the very same word at the exact same time.

"Vampires"
