A Vampire Wonderland

Chapter twelve

so it has been about a week since i had to, kill my best friends mother. but Owl and Taylor have really gotten better. they are also looking for a job, Owl has an interview for the local groceries store and May has an interview for the local dog kennel. they are actually on their way to them right now. they will send me a text once it is all over.

my grandpa is starting teaching next Monday just so that the sub can get their 2 week notice.

oh i got a text from Owl. that was quick.

-coming home. make waffles i am freaking out

whenever Owl is mad, upset, freaking out or nervous he eats waffles. its pretty funny actually.

-your done the interview already?

-no they said i can come in in 20 minutes so i started freaking out. like i said, make waffles

-you wearing a suit?

-yes you saw me before i left! MAKE WAFFLES!!!

-if you are wearing a suit then you have to have the interview

-why?

-because you hate wearing suits

-what does that have to do with anything?

-when is the next time you are planning on wearing a tux?

-uh NEVER

-exactly

-dude you should be a lawyer or a motivational speaker or something boring!

-oh gee thanks

-so are you doing the interview?

-yea i guess

-k awesome see you in a bit then

and then that was it.

and then i got a text from May.

-hiiiiiiii

-hey did you do your interview yet?

-no they said i can come in in 5 mins

-cool tell me how it went after!

-k but don't go! i am seriously nervous!!!

-do you want me to make you some waffles?

-haha no but i would seriously LOVE some hot chocolate!

-is it cold outside?

-YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-crap i was supposed to go pick up my girlfriend and her brother from their job interviews today...

-oh you shut up!

and that was the end of it. my thumbs are starting to cramp up! lets hope my grandpa didn't learn how to text while he was the blood suckers powerful king!

the door opened. i ducked for cover as soon as i saw who it was. it was Drake, mrs Evick, mr burrow, and they looked like... Flesh eaters! they must have turned into flesh eaters when i killed them! and i bet when i kill the flesh eaters they will just turn into ghosts! wow, killing these guys is going to be a lot harder than i expected.

i went into the spirit world.

"speak. how do you know where i was living? and how did you get past the guard?"

"no... Questions... just... come... here..."

"why would i ever do that? all of you have tried to kill me!"

"not.. anymore... here... to... warn... you"

"warn me about what?

"blood... suckers... not... happy... they can smell... you... a mile... away...run... and never... turn back"

"what about my grandpa? and Owl and May?

then mrs evick started crying... i think.

"oh goodness...my babies... they would... never... forgive me"

"how do i know this isn't a trap?"

"we... agreed... that no matter... what... the Good guy... always... wins... so we are... the first.... ever flesh eaters... to switch... sides"

"... how many blood suckers are left from the raid?"

"10... thousand"

"crap"

"please... take your grandfather... May and Owl... and go as... far away... as possible... and hide"

it took me a few minutes but then i had a realization. well, two.

1- they were telling the truth. they actually are on my side.

2- if we run, then the blood suckers would just attack the people around them just to get the satisfaction of attacking and winning. i have to stay and protect the people of Canada. and the world! i have to fight.

"no. we are going to stay and we are going to fight"

"no... please... go... save.... yourselves"

gosh they take forever to talk.

"no. i am going to save everyone around me wether you like it or not. and if you want to help that is great. but you can't make me go because i will find my way back. always."

"alright... fine... we will... help... you"

'thank you. when is the attack?"

"Tonight... we... should go... now... goodbye"

"goodbye. see you all later."

and then they left. i exit the spirit world.

the door opened again. it was my grandpa.

"Al something is going on. i think i just saw three flesh eaters in the lobby!'

"yes they were just here. it was Drake, mrs Evick and mr burrow"

"did they hurt you?"

"no they didn't touch me. they are actuall on our side grandpa. they warned me that the rest of the blood suckers are coming to attack me. they want to help"

"how can you be so sure that you can trust them?"

"because of how they want to help! you would trust them if you got home like 5 minutes ago!"

"did you sign me Owl and May up for fighting?"

"kinda yea"

"i must be the best math tacher ever. fighting vampires and zombies!"

"grandpa you are supposed to call them blood suckers and flesh eaters!"

"oh pish posh that is just fancy talk! so when is they attack?"

"tonight"
