A Vampire Wonderland

Chapter eleven

so, i got the job! and my grandpa was almost crying he was so happy for me. he said that he found a job he can still do at his age, teaching. he did the right coouses in college to be qualified and there is a teacher position at my school. he will be teaching my math class since Mr. burrow, uh... quit.

oh May just sent me a text:

-hey Al heard you got the job! hope your not to busy to pick me up tomorrow!

-haha don't worry! in fact you can remind me tonight while im am there!

-what do you mean?

-Owl invited me over to train tonight

-train for what?

-fighting blood suckers

-oh

-why? does it matter?

-no i just wish he would have told me sooner

-why?

- haha i don't know what we are talking about

-are you feeling ok?

-i don't know

-ok umm i am going to be there in 15 mins ok? stay right where you are!

-okee dokee

one thing my grandfather told me is that a few of the symptoms for a vampire bite are:

1- acting loopy

2- short term memorie loss

3- and the red flash in their eyes

he also told me that only the royal blood suckers knew the spell to enter the spirit world and the royals are either dead or back to normal.

i should let Owl know what is going on and that i am coming over.

-owl i think May has been bitten so i am going to be there in like 15 mins or so ok?

took about 3 minutes but he answered.

-whatever ALegator! haha ([)

-what?

-haha thats supposed to be a butt!

yep pretty sure he was bitten too.

"hey grandpa i need to use the car! May and Owl haave been bitten!"

"alright stay safe!"

i ran out to the parking lot, started the car, and slammed on the gas. screw the law my friends are in danger.

no police pulled me over so thats good. i was just about to knock on the door when someone one opened it. and ki couldn.t believe my eyes. i saw Owls mom, with glowing red eyes. fangs and a cape. and then a man appeared by her side. Mr. Burrow. i immediatly entered the spirit world.

"give me a samurai sword."

and one appered in my hands.

the length of it could be helpful ok?

another thing my grandfather taught me is how to allow your enemy hear you while in the spirit world. just say the word 'speak' and they hear you lound and clear.

"speak. Mr Burrow what are you doing here?"

"oh just visiting the Queen of the blood suckers. she brought me back from the dead"

"Mrs Evick, YOU are the blood suckers Queen?"

"yes Al. now, why don't you make youself visible. it would be much easier for my back"

i couldn't beleive it. one of the sweetest lady's i know is the Queen of blood suckers. i had to save Owl and May. i exit the spirit world. and once i was visible i sliced the two of them in half. just one slice. how am i going to explaima ll of this to Owl and May? gently that is. not like the way i explained it to you.

Owl! May! where are you?"

no answer.

grandpa said that it takes days for the bite to take effect so they would probably be really loopy. oh! that gives me an idea!

"MARCO!"

"OH OH OH I KNOW THIS ONE!!!"

that would be May.

"POLAR BEAR!!!"

Meh, close enough.

the voices were coming from upstairs. i checked May's room, no one was there. i checked the ex-Queen of blood suckers's room, nothing. the bathroom was empty so that leaves one room. Owls.i looked in and sure enough, two teenagers with blood red eyes were sitting on the floor, playing Tarzan jungle man.

"hey do you guys want 1 000 000$?"

"oh ya ya ya!"

"yes please!"

"alright then follow me!"

i took them to my car, told them that the money was back at the hotel room and they had to sit in the back, and then started for the hotel. when we arrived i told my grandpa what happened and he made the antidote quicker than the road runner in looney toones. he put the antidote into glasses of chocolate milk and Owl and May chugged it like there was no tomorrow!

"they should be back to normal in about ten minutes. i am just going to run out to grab some groceries, stay here. when they wake up tell them they are welcome to live with us. and don't loose sight of them!"

"alright thanks again grandpa!"

he smailed and then left.

i am just going to cut to the point where they are back to normal because ltteraly nothing happens it those 10 minutes!

"wh-whats going on?"

"hey May, how'r ya feeling?"

"my head hurts. whyh are we here? last thing i remember is mom said that she had a suprise for us"

"ya about that-"

"woah dud how did we ge here?"

"hey Owl how ya feelin'?"

"oh i'm fine."

"ok look i need to tell you guys something and you need to listen. there is no easy way to say this but, your mom was a blood sucker. the Queen of them to be exact. and if i didn't do what i did then we would all be goners! she brought Mr. Burrow back from the dead!"

"Al what did you do?"

"i just had to do it!"

"Al do what?"

"i used a samurai sword to kill your mom. and mr. Burrow"

they both started crying.

"its ok. i know it sucks loosing your parent. but my grandpa says that you are welcome to stay with us"

then they both said the same word at the same time: "thanks"
