MEG POV
After 10 minutes of just endless beating we finally went home I couldn't really see because of the black eye and my tears so I didn't know where we were. When he beat me, He just used he's fist to punch me and slap me in the back seat, I cant believe no one saw him beating me, I wish just someone could of saw it and would of called someone so I could get away from him, away from this horrible life... and this horrible man.
Dad: what do you say when someone ask you about your face and leg?!
Meg: that- that I tripped down the stairs
dad: and?
Meg: because I accidentally left my stuff on the stairs
dad: good now get out my damn car
Meg: *gets out car* wait there's still 5 blocks till were at the house
dad: I don't care! walk you need the exercise with all that fat on you.
meg: but my leg is sprained!
dad: then crawl! *drives his car off fast down the street*
well... my dad just beat me and left me on the sidewalk with a black eye and a sprinted leg I don't have a phone I just got mall- arrested and I don't have a best friend.... oh what a joy....
NIKKI POV:
when we got to the house my mom and I had a 2 hour conversion about the mall thing and now I'll be grounded for 4 months in my room no TV, phone, computer only homework, studying, and on week ends some outdoor activities
AT SCHOOL
Meg wasn't at house I did my usual thing every morning except going to Meg's house so we could walk to school together but what ever she talked to much anyway I can now think about more important things now like homework and math and science and softball practice ugh screw it.... I cant do it I have to wonder where's Meg? Is she hurt, did she run away, was she kidnapped? Where is she?!
when I got to school everyone was making fun of me calling me names by 6th period they thought I was stealing cause I was poor but I always get teased but I got through it because Meg was always there with me... but whatever she's-
Jacob: hey loser why isn't your little loser friend here? Did she get caught stealing again?
Nikki: just fuck off jerk
Amy: oh my gosh it speaks
Jacob: Did you steal some food for your poor family
Jessie: it was probably from the side of the road
Amy: I bet that's where she got her clothes *laughing*
I cant take it anymore I cant take all of them laughing at me and saying rude things to me
Nikki: *runs out of school*
Amy: where are you going? LOSER!
I don't know how long I was running I couldn't see with all the tears in my eyes I keep running until I couldn't run anymore I could still hear there mean words echoing in my mind when I opened my eyes I was in the middle of the street I then looked to the side and saw someone
