I stared outside the car's window to see a rather unpleasant scene. A few minutes ago, we left the mansion and the sight was not so bad- a few minutes ago.

We came across a town that fences were built as if to separate and it did look like that. A few men with guns stood on our side of the fence looking at the other side.

The other side was the unpleasant one than ours. Smoke polluted its air and the citizens were covered in a mess. Either sweat, smoke or grease, I don't know.

"Don't mind them" I looked to left and saw Master Luhan shooting a piercing gaze at some of the citizens and others held his gaze. I nod, not wanting to cause a scene.

A few more towns pass by ablur and it was all the same. looking futuristic in our side but in the other, seemed like it was tortured and left behind for decades.

Turns out the whole trip was just to check on these sites and soon we were on our way back. I thought, what were the things I missed? The bite!

"Master Lu?" I asked politely as he turned his head to me and raised a brow before nodding. "Before you said we were 'connected' " I winced "What is that supposed to mean?"

I saw him pull back his face into an fustrated expression before speaking.

"You see, when a vampire bites someone, they're mated" he definitely sounded annoyed to have this topic "but it depends on how much they bite or how long they bite on how long they are mated. Short, a couple of months. Long, forever

but in our case only 8 months" Well thank goodness and he looked the same as well "side effects, attraction" my ears perked up and I looked at him as he smirked. "Don't fight it" don't fight attraction?

His voice was barely audible but I heard it anyways "or we'll both loose it"

Night and I lay silently on my bed. Today was not the best day like every other day, it was fustrating. I looked to my right then left before standing up.

My thoughts flew to Master Lu and immediately I wanted to talk to him. Why? I don't know. I stand up and walk around the room before rushing out the door and stopping infront of his door.

I knocked and heard him say 'come in' and I twisted the knob and pushed the door open. "Missed me already?" I saw place down his wristwatch on the bedtable before turning around to face me.

You know what this isn't a good idea "I-I'm sorry Master, I'll ju-" yep definitely not a good idea now that he's in front of me a milisecond later, pulling me to him and hugging me.

"Ma-"

"Are you ordering me now slave? I told you, don't fight the attraction"

I gulp. Oh Lords above, his voice. I raise my head up and looked straight to him at the eye before he brushed his lips over me lightly.
