Chapter 6: The Project She Can't Withdraw

"OHHH... Hyeri-yah! You came?" Hyunwoo, her colleague and also her bestfriend looked surprise to see her again in the office.

"Yes. But I can't be long. I need to go after I've finished my job here. Wahh... there's a lot of email that I don't read it yet," Hyeri sighed. She will normally will doing her job in office only so that's why her email as Lily she will just opened it when she's at the office.

"It' been almost two weeks since you gone. No wonder there's a lot of email in your inbox. There's a lot of call searching for you too especially the reporters and scriptwriters. But Director Kim said you're not in the country for a while. Where have you been?" asked Hyunwoo curious.

Hyeri bite her lips. Except her uncle and JYP, no one knew what she's been doing for this past week actually. She need to keep it as a secret until she finished the fanfiction story of Got7.

"Like what Director Kim said... I am... having some project to take care of. So that's why I will rarely come here," Hyeri smiled awkwardly.

"What kind of project?"

"Sorry, I can't tell you yet." Hyeri showed him her sad face.

Hyunwoo pouted, "Yah! I'm your bestfriend yet you still can't tell me?"

"It's not like that Hyunwoo-yah! I really want to tell you but I'm in the position that I can't tell anyone about it," Hyeri felt guilty for not able to tell Hyunwoo.

They've knew each other for a long time since they were six years old. Hyeri not really has a lot of friend besides Hyunwoo. Hyunwoo is like her other half. Hyeri was the one that asked Hyunwoo to work with her uncle as her uncle has publication company.

"I'm so sorry. I promise you that I will tell you once I've finished this project," promised Hyeri.

Hyunwoo sighed, "It must be big project there. I hope I'm able to be like you too one day."

"Yah! You're doing well. I heard your latest novel is doing well in the market. I see that you gained a lot of fans recently. All the girls were like 'Cloud oppa jjang!', 'Cloud oppa so cool' and so on," teased Hyeri. Cloud is Hyunwoo nickname.

Hyunwoo finally smiled, "So you heard about it too?"

"Of course! You're my bestfriend. No matter how busy am I, I will always look over you,"

"Oh... you're so sweet! You are my best girlfriend,"

"Don't you dare to have any girlfriend besides me," said Hyeri before both of them laughing out loud.

"Oh, Kim Hyeri!"

"Oh, good morning Director Kim!" greet Hyeri and Hyunwoo together.

"Good morning. Hyeri-ssi, can we have a talk in my room for a while?"

Hyeri nodded before following her boss to his room. Once Hyeri closed the door, Jaehyung put aside his briefcase before dragged Hyeri along to sit with him.

"Yah! Let's sit quickly. Tell me what happen for this past week. Do you able to get know them better? Do you able to write any interesting story?" asked Jaehyung excitedly.

Hyeri looked at her uncle with her eyes that became smaller, "I really want to curse on you but I hold it because you're my boss and uncle."

"Why? Is there anything wrong?"

"Is there anything wrong you asked? The problem is there's not even one thing that's right here!" burst Hyeri.

"What... what do you mean? What happen there? I heard you're becoming their manager."

"No. I became their slave!"

"SLAVE? Don't tell me you became that... that kind of slave? Yah, what they asked you to do? Are you hurt anywhere?" Jaehyung looked over Hyeri's hand and face.

Hyeri pushed away his hand, "It's not like they're beating me or what. They ordered to me lot of thing. Every day I came back home with all my body ache because of tired!"

"Really? Why don't you tell JYP?"

"He's rarely to be seen anywhere. I think I'm going to die before even able to see him,"

"So what's your plan?"

Hyeri looked at Jaehyung, "I want to give up."

Jaehyung's eyes became wider, "What? Yah, you little brat! Are you crazy?"

"For me accepting this project is the real craziness I've been through all this while!" yelled Hyeri back.

"Yah, don't you know what consequence will we get if you want to withdraw from this project? Don't you read the contract?" asked Jaehyung.

Hyeri shook her head, "I'm just signing it without read anything."

"You little..." Jaehyung holding himself from cursing to his niece. Hyeri just looked at him with I-don't-do-anything-wrong face.

Jaehyung let out a heavy breath before took an envelope from his drawer, "Read the terms and condition that you should already read it before you're signing it!"

Hyeri read the contract carefully before her eyes turned wider, "5 million won?! I need to pay for 5 million won if I want to cancel this project?"

"You won't be that surprised if you already read it before, you little..." Jaehyung raised his hand like want to slap her that make Hyeri flinched.

Hyeri pouted, "That's too much condition here. I'm too sleepy to read all of it!"

Jaehyung sighed, "So what should we conclude here, you can't withdraw from this contract in order to avoid paying that kind of big amount of money. Understand, sweetheart?"

Hyeri stomped her feet before glared to her uncle, "Fine! I'll do it. I'll finished it quickly so that I'll release from those little devil!"
