Chapter 35: Jaebum's Sixth Sense

HYERI hit her head to the wall. She's losing her mind thinking about what happen earlier. Some of the members send message to her asking whether she's alright because she's leaving too soon not like she used to. She lied to them telling that she's kind of not feeling well.

"How I'm going to face him tomorrow? Urgghhhh!" Hyeri bumped her face into her pillow.

Suddenly her phone ringing. She lifted her head and grabbed her phone. Her eyes turned bigger to see Jinyoung's name on the screen.

"Oh my God! Why is he calling me?" shouted Hyeri. She didn't even dare to answer it and just stared at Jinyoung's name on the screen until the call ended.

She breathed out relievely to see the call finally end, "Pheww... luckily it end. How can he even brave enough to call me after I ran away when he confessed to me? Am I the only one being too shy even he's the one that confess to me? Why should I... OH MY GOD!"

Hyeri shocked when her phone ringing again but this time because of a new message entered.

Hyeri-yah, I'm sorry if my confession make you feel burden. I won't ask you to give the answer right away. I know you must be shocked with that sudden confession. I will act like nothing happen until you ready to give the answer to me. I hope you don't bother to come tomorrow. I don't want the members suspect anything wrong if you suddenly not appear. I hope you understand. I'm sorry for giving you hard time. – Jinyoung.

Hyeri sighed before lied down on her bed and staring at ceiling, "Can I just die?"

HYERI and Jinyoung were not talking to each other anymore. Jinyoung was doing his best to act naturally but Hyeri still can't control herself whenever she saw Jinyoung so the best way happened that they should just avoid each other.

"Are you fighting with Jinyoung again?" asked Jaebum. He sat besides Hyeri while they have a break during the dance practice session.

"No. I'm not," said Hyeri with her eyes still at her laptop.

"Then why you guys were avoiding each other?"

"No, we're not avoiding each other. We're just being normal. Maybe it's just your eyes looking at the wrong side. You have the small eyes anyway," said Hyeri.

Jaebum's jaw moved as he annoyed with Hyeri's words, "Geez. How dare you blame my small eyes?"

Hyeri chuckled, "I'm saying the right thing. You have the small eyes."

"I'm calling Jinyoung then,"

"No, you can't!" Hyeri grabbed Jaebum's hand.

"Oh? Look who is getting panic to hear Jinyoung's name? The big glasses girl Kim Hyeri," teased Jaebum.

"Aishh... Jaebum oppa! Can you just stop teasing me?"

"I'm not teasing you. I'm saying the right thing. You are panic right now," said Jaebum with the same tone like what Hyeri speak earlier.

"Are you mimicked my way of speak?"

Jaebum chuckled, "So it's true that you guys were fighting?"

"We're not fighting actually but it's kind of like... having some issue," Hyeri's trying to hide the real thing.

Jaebum just staring at Hyeri while smiling without saying anything.

Hyeri frowned while looking at Jaebum that looking at her weirdly, "Why you look at me with that kind of look? What with that weird smile?"

"Hyeri-yah, why don't you gave him some chance?" asked Jaebum suddenly.

Hyeri shocked to hear Jaebum's question, "What chance? You... don't tell me that... wait, you not at home yesterday. I almost bump into you at the front door."

Jaebum smirked, "I'm a quick-witted person. I can sense something much faster than other people so I'm kind of... can predict what actually happen."

Hyeri bite her lips, 'Does he has a sixth sense or what?'

"Hyeri-yah, Jinyoung really taking care of you well. I can see how much he want to protect you. He won't doing that to everyone unless he really loves that person."

Hyeri not saying anything. Jaebum pat her head before called back his member to start the practice again. Hyeri realize Jinyoung looked at him through the mirror. He smiled at her before focus again to his practice.

Hyeri bites her lips, 'What should I do...?'
