Chapter 17: Saving a Life

HYERI reached at the ground floor. She straight went to the pool while cursing Jinyoung in her mind. She firmly make her mind which is she want to withdraw from her project. She had enough. She has no patience left in her anymore.

'I don't want to do this anymore. I don't care whatever happen after this. I don't want to have any relation with Got7 anymore! I don't care what will happen to them. I don't care how much money I need to spend as long as I'm able to get out from this hell. Why should I work hard for them if they can't appreciate me? Why should I suffer alone for their sake? I shouldn't accept this crazy project at the first place!'

She wipes her tears before looked around the pool. She really sure that her keychain fall into the pool earlier, "It must be on the bottom."

She tried to look with her eyes but it quite hard to see well. She afraid to get into the water as she didn't know how to swim. But the keychain is too precious for her. Her late brother gave it to her right before he died. She can't lose it no matter what. 

Hyeri squat besides the pool trying to measure the depth of the water with her eyes. The bottom looked near to her, "Maybe it's not so deep. The bottom look near,"

She took off her shoes and glasses before ready to dive. While clenching her teeth she jumped into the water. As she got into the water, her feet can't reach the bottom like what she predicted earlier that make her panic. She lost her breath. She kicked the water as hard as she can trying to reach the surface again but as much as she did, she can't make her body float.

The bubble going out from her mouth as she running out the oxygen. The waters started filled her nose and she even swallowed a lot of it. Her head became dizzy before she blank out.

'Joohyun oppa...'

JAEBUM was using his veto power as the leader to order Jinyoung get Hyeri back and apologize to her.

"Aishh... why are you doing that, Jinyoung-ah?" Jinyoung mad to himself as he walked out from the elevator and heading to the pool.

When he reached at the pool he looked around but the pool is empty, "What? Is she left already?"

He then saw a pair of shoes and glasses near the pool, "This is Hyeri's shoes and glasses."

Jinyoung can sense something wrong when Hyeri's shoes and glassses were there but Hyeri was nowhere to be seen. He then realize a bubble coming out from the center of the pool and he could see a body underneath.

"HYERI!" Jinyoung screamed before quickly dive into the water. Hyeri not moving and her body slowly falling down. He quickly grabbed her before brought her to the surface.

"Hyeri-yah! Hyeri-yah, wake up!" Jinyoung shook Hyeri's shoulder but she's not giving any response.

Jinyoung doing CPR to Hyeri with pumping her chest multiple times, "Please Hyeri... please...!"

He could hear his member's voice calling out his name from afar but he can't even think anything at all as Hyeri still not giving any response.

"Jinyoung-ah! How can this be?!" asked Jaebum panic but Jinyoung just too busy to answer.

"I'll call the ambulance," Yugyeom took out his phone before make a call.

Jinyoung then do a CPR from mouth to mouth. Hyeri still not giving any response so he's pumping her chest again before giving breath through her mouth again. After the third time Jinyoung getting tired and he started breathing hard and shivering.
