Chapter 23: Jaebum's Concern

"OHH... you guys are back?" Jaebum greet Hyeri and Bambam that just back. Hyeri was being in charge to accompany Bambam for his photoshoot.

Bambam massaged his neck, "Hmm... I'm so tired. I really want to sleep right away."

"Bambam-ah, have a shower first before sleep!" remind Jaebum.

"I got it, hyung!" replied Bambam from inside of his room but Jaebum don't think that guy even going to follow his words as he just being silent and he bet Bambam must be sleep already.

"That kid must be sleep right away," told Jaebum.

Hyeri chuckled, "He just back from Thailand this morning before straight to his photoshoot. No wonder he's tired."

"Are you not going back home? You don't have anything to do anymore today, right?" asked Jaebum.

"It's still early. I want to stay here for a while," asked Hyeri while watching television.

"As you wish then," said Jaebum before continue writing on his notebook.

"Oh, you're writing new song?" asked Hyeri took a peek at Jaebum's notebook.

Jaebum smiled, "Well, I don't have anything to do. It's better if I have something to do for the group, right?"

Hyeri was not saying anything. She didn't know why but from Jaebum's words, Hyeri could sense that he has something in his mind.

"Oh, Jinyoung-ah! You have schedule?" asked Jaebum when Jinyoung suddenly came out from the room.

Jinyoung glanced at Hyeri before looking at Jaebum, "Ah, yes... I have shooting for my drama."

"Well, then... take care," told Jaebum.

Jinyoung smiled a little bit before nodded. He then left them.

Hyeri looked at him left, 'Geez. He don't even bother to look at me. Why he should act like I'm not exist here? Why I'm the one that felt burden for him to keep distance from me? Well... I should feel happy right? But... why I don't feel happy at all?'

"Are you still mad at him?" asked Jaebum.

Hyeri looked at Jaebum, "No. I'm not. I told him that I already forgive him."

"You may forgive him but you can't forget what he did, right?"

Hyeri not able to answer it. But then suddenly they heard someone home. Jackson appeared with a really tired face. Hyeri ran towards him and get his bag, "Welcome home, Jackson-ah."

Jackson nodded with his eyes half-close before he then collapsed on Hyeri's shoulder, "Yah... yah! Jackson-ah!"

Jaebum quickly get him and brought him to the couch. But then they heard his snore. Hyeri and Jaebum looked at each other before laughed.

"He's already fall asleep. This guy made us scary for no reason!"

Jaebum shook his head before sighed, "He's not even took off his makeup yet."

Hyeri went to Jackson's room to get his makeup remover and facial tissue before sat in front of the sleeping Jackson.

"He must be tired with his packed schedule. He need to always fly front and back to China and Korea for his schedule. At the same time he needs to prepare for the comeback too," Hyeri wipe makeup from Jackson's face. He's not even move or give any reaction as he just too tired to react.

"That's why I'm always feeling bad towards him. He's working hard to promote our group to make people know Got7. Other members also working hard brought Got7's name in their work. While I'm here as a leader..." Jaebum lowered his head.

Hyeri looked at Jaebum. She now understand what he said just now. Jaebum actually felt guilty looking at his members getting tired with their schedule as they're bringing Got7's name along with them. The members are promoting Got7 for the sake of them together. Jaebum felt that as the leader he should be the one that doing that instead of them.

"While you're here as a leader already doing a really  good job for Got7 too."

Jaebum lifted his head looking at Hyeri. Hyeri pat Jaebum's shoulder, "You can't compare yourself with them. It's not like because of you're not appear in the variety show or dramas, you're not working hard for them. Look what are you doing now."

Hyeri pointed to his notebook and Jaebum turned his head.

"You're writing a lot of good songs as Defsoul and who do you think that's for? It's all for the members, right? It's for Got7, right?" asked Hyeri.

Jaebum nodded.

"You're showing your effort towards this. Not everyone able to make a good songs but you're lucky that you're one of them. You're doing well enough as the leader. You protect them. You unite them. You take care them well. There's nothing you should be regret for. I believe they're thinking the same like me. They must be don't like if they know the fact that their leader feeling sad because of thinking that he can't be a good leader.

Promoting the group is not the job for the leader only. The members also must be felt responsible so that's why they're willing to do that. Because of what? Because they're Got7 too."

Jaebum finally smile again. He chuckled, "Suddenly I feel embarrassed with you."

"Oppa! Why you should feel like that? I'm just helping you to gain your confidence back,"

"Thank you Hyeri-yah. I'm glad that you're part of us. Thanks for being our family."

Hyeri's smile gone for a while, "Fa... family?

Jaebum nooded, "Of course. You're our family, right?"

Hyeri let out awkward laugh, "Well... I think so. Urmm... I think I need to go back for now. I'll meet you tomorrow."

"Take care then,"

Hyeri just smile before took her bag and left the house. She leaned at the wall after leaving Got7's dorm.

Hyeri sighed, "Family? They're considering me as family? Then it must be hard for me to left later."
