My feet crunch against the fall leaves. The sun beats down but it's still really cold. I see Walkers eating a dead corpse and debate giving them mercy. I finally come to a decision. Leave them alone there's no point to killing them if they aren't even bothering you. I keep walking and round the corner. I stop and pull out my water taking a small swig of it. I notice 3 dead walkers. Walking over there is still wet blood dripping from their heads. Before I bend down to them. Bullets explode near me. One catches me in the thigh and shoulder. I quickly dart away grabbing my backpack. My leg throbs and blood is gushing out. I stop by a tree and pull out one of my old T-shirts and tear the sleeve. Tying it around my leg and limping on. Realizing I won't make it much farther today and have to rest. I start looking for a place to rest for the night. When I see a car broke down and beside a building I decide to rest there since it locks. When I lay my head down I feel sleep swooping in and taking me away. I feel as if I may die. If I do I just hope someone will find me and put me down to rest. Forever. Despite the fact I may actually die. I start praying in a whisper. Dear lord I am hoping you won't take me just yet and hope I'll live long enough to see this apocalypse end and them find a cure. I don't even know if you can here me anymore. Why did you do this to me. To US? Your children. Amen. Then darkness sweeps over me.... I wake up again but I'm too weak to move and then the darkness sweeps over me again..... I see a bright light and wake up again. 2 men a little older then me stand above me and they have masks on. My heart drops and I close my eyes for darkness to take me again.
