Rain

A loud boom startles me and I fall from the bed. My head smacks the floor and I groan. The door opens and I hear Morgan burst out laughing at me. "You okay Elizabeth?" He asks. I stand up and nod brushing off my clothes. He looks extremely confused at my outfit. "You changed clothes?" He asks. I try to come up with an excuse and the first is "Started sweating and need to change."
"Okay." He says sounding unsure and I smile at him.
"Well everyone is staying home cause the rain. If you didn't hear it." He says giggling.
"Well I'm going to go visit Benjamin." I say brushing by him before he can answer. "Elizabeth!" He orders and I stop.
"Do you.....you like him?" He says almost upset.
"Just as a friend and if he sees me in another way then it isn't mutual." I say walking out after grabbing an umbrella. I open it and start waking and realizing I have no idea where Benjamin fucking lives. "Hey mam?" I ask a woman and she looks at me and smiles.
"Yes?" She asks.
"Where does Benjamin live?" I ask. Her face falls. "In the auditorium with Ezekiel, Nicholas and Richard." She says and I nod mumbling a quick thank you before walking quickly towards the auditorium. I push open the heavy doors before bumping into something furry. I land on the floor while my legs sit up on the fluffy thing.
"Are you alright?" A voice asks. I look up and see the person I dreaded to see. King Ezekiel. "Yeah, just tripped over a..... Shiva." I say sounding stupid.
She rubs against my legs and lets out a kitten sound before rolling over on her back. "Sorry I would love to pet you but I really need to see Benjamin." I say standing up. "Where is his room?" I ask. "Down the hall last door on the left." He says. His smile is so fake, I'm 90% sure that he would make a mannequin jealous. Even his eyes gives him away. They're full of sadness. "Thanks." I say before darting away. I enter the hall and run to Benjamin's door. I swing it open and slam it shut after running in. Benjamin stares at me in shock. He's in a recliner and fully dressed. "What the hell was that last night!?" I scream. He jumps up and locks the door.
"Alright I panicked okay? I just wish you would already hook up with him. He talks about you all the time. He talks about how your eyes shine brighter then the stars and he's always acting like a little 12 year Shakespeare's lover who's got a crush. He talks about how you hair flows in the wind like the ocean. Elizabeth he's in love with you. Please tell me, it's mutual?" He asks. "I'm sorry Benjamin, it isn't." I say and Benjamin stares shocked at me. My confidence comes rushing back. "And I REALLY wish people would stop saying he's in love with me. I know it by now. I understood it all 27 times Benjamin!" I say. I grip the door handle and unlock the door pulling it open and my heart practically jumps out and runs away. When I see...... King Ezekiel standing at the door. He had been listening this whole time, he knows.
