Everything Was A Lie

The Garden

I know this and the last 2 chapters are late but I had somethings gone wrong. My life got in the way and I just finished the last chapter. FINALLY!! I'm sorry for the delay but I have 9 days off school for Thanksgiving and I'll try to update ALMOST everyday!! Really!! I won't be updating Sunday or Monday because things are going on. If I do update it'll be at late night. I hope you all the best wishes!!💘❣️🔐

After me and Jerry fix us food, we start walking off to the magical garden to relax. When I see it my breath hitches in my throats and I hear Jerry laugh. "It's gorgeous Jerry!" I gap. He nods and walk to a bench in the middle of the garden. My leg hurts badly now and when we sit down I grunt in pain. Jerry notices and looks worried. "Should I go get pain medicine?" He asks.
"No after we eat."
"Do you like it here?"
"Yes, I honestly thought I was gonna die and go to... is this heaven?"
"No! At least I don't think it is." Jerry replies.
"I'm glad we're friends!" He says.
"You consider me a friend?" I ask shocked.
"Well yeah!"
I giggle and then whimper in pain. "I'm getting you pain medicine!" He says hopping up and walking away. I eat in silence until I hear the leaves rustling of a nearby tree and look up to see Shiva and Ezekiel. My breath hitches and I stare at him. "I saw you staring earlier." He says. I scoff and brain shoves words into my mouth. "I was looking at Shiva don't flatter yourself."
"I never said you were looking at me."
"But you made it sound that way."
"People who are guilty often accuse themselves."
I have no comeback. "I'll excuse myself." I say leaving. I walk until I reach Morgan's house and walk into my room. I enter my room,locking the door and sit on the bed. My leg throbs and heart pounds loudly. I curl up and hope the pain passes. The pain soon becomes unbearable. My eyes drift shut. My lungs force breathes and I start panicking until my world falls into the darkness.
I'm back in the garden. The wind howls and I see King Ezekiel turned towards the tree. My body is stiff and heavy. I walk over and turn him around and pieces of rotten flesh fall off his face. I gag and back away and he grabs me and sinks his teeth into my neck and I scream but I'm silenced by blood. A pounding fills the air. "Nameless!" The voice yells.
I jolt awake and roll off the bed and unlock the door. My whole body aches now and I wobble and shake. Morgan stares at me. "I heard screaming is everything alright?" He asks and I nod. "Jerry brought these by for you." He says handing me a cup with 2 pain pills. "Thanks." I squeak closing the door. I take the pills and lay down again hoping they take affect soon. After 5 minutes I drift off to sleep.
