Sol hopped down with the fire burning continually, it seemed as though the fire would incinerate the whole person of Sol but he was the master. He walked casually, keeping his cool ironically. Itazuki charged at Sol, slashing and moving at a speed he didn’t possess before. The two were locked together, sword and fire. They released Sol did a backflip like a nimble gymnast, he slid across the ground, but already Itazuki was race to face with uppercuts straight into Sol’s stomach, he lurched over Itazuki’s fist but only long enough to get a jump kick to the face. Pain stricken, Sol spiraled out of control hovering above the ground then crashing against the asphalt, rolling and bouncing. The asphalt turned to grass and he skidded across hit a tree which caught a blaze.

Thoughts escaped Itazuki, no longer merely a man; he grunted blackness and turned to see Sol stand to his feet. Darkness seeped out of him, he bolted out of his position and drove his blade through at Sol, but it penetrated no flesh just wood. Sol stood beside Itazuki, holding his hands in front of Itazuki’s face, a spiraling beam of fire was shot and Itazuki simply stood amidst the fire, not moving. The fire died away and Sol took a small hop back in anticipation. Itazuki stood still holding on to his sword still plunged in the burning tree. Itazuki’s skin had been burned partly away, muscle and a black liquid was visible, circulating his body. Itazuki’s face was what was mostly burned, he didn’t pull the blade out but sliced the thick twenty foot tree in half, it toppled over plowing through the roof of the school.

Sol saw an opportunity; he jumped up and slammed his fist down at Itazuki’s face causing him to stagger over catching himself with one hand. No planning took place and Sol gave a punt kick at Itazuki’s head like it was a football. Itazuki fell back falling on his back but rolled out of it on to his feet but without his sword, being only a few feet away. But his scattered mind didn’t think about the sword, he lunged like a wolf at Sol, throwing upper cuts. Two landed, Sol delivered his own. A kick to the side and with his right hand he sent a wave of fire, Itazuki leaned back all the way into an odd position to evade the wave, he then sent his legs up into the air, instant contact. Power was behind this double legged kick.

Sol barreled up high into the sky, feeling the little extra warmth of the sun, closing his eyes he absorbed the rays. He looked down and was shocked to see Itazuki flying up from a single bound, the beast couldn’t wait to attack, Sol placed his one arm out and pointed his bony fingers, just two and a small white beam, instantly appeared. It only went through Itazuki’s thigh, his jump ended suddenly, straight for the earth below, breaking through the ground. A small hole in the ground where the puny beam went through was left remaining. Sol landed softly using the heat to alleviate the fall.

Red smoke billowed from Itazuki who lied on the floor, face down. Sol Smirked and began to walk over, joy overwhelmed his senses, almost dulling them. The day had arrived where he would killed the man that ended everything he cared about.

“It looks like you reached your end, “Sol’s words blew off by the sudden gust, the fire on his arms withered away into nothing and the flesh grew back on his body. He pointed his finger at Itazuki, aiming at his head; a bright light emerged from his finger tip. But, Sol fell off from his feet and was airborne parallel to the ground. Sol’s bluish gray eyes opened to See Itazuki directly above him, part of his face had started to grow but incorrectly, and his jaw was hinged open, parts of his teeth were starting the process of sharpening.  The creature of dark matter held the sword back and then plunged it straight through Sol. Sol being only two feet above the ground fell straight down as soon as the blade pierced him. Upon impact he coughed up blood, still he pointed out his hand to shoot fire, but suddenly Itazuki pulled the blade out and sliced off Sol’s hand, he screamed in agony.

With the sword above his head, ready to attack, the eye on Itazuki’s body skirted away and crawled back to the blade. The yellow in his eyes vanished slowly, then the azure returned and the paleness of his skin was overcome by his natural skin tone, and his skin on his face flexed back and forth but shifted to being normal. “Uhhhhhhhhhh.” Itazuki uttered by fear of what happened, he remembered this feeling, the change and the losing of right and wrong. His beaming eyes looked down at Sol, pity ran through his heart and he stepped away no longer standing above him ready to end his life.
