""The others and I were in an abandoned shed. I stood back in the shadows watching as the meeting began. Teran, our leader stood at the head of the wooden table. A ball of fire floating in the air lit up the room that night and Teran looked around at his trusted men while stroking his gray beard. Next to him was his youngest son Chishiro. He turned to him and asked quickly, "Chishiro, where is your brother?" Chishiro was running his hand through his short thick hair as his father spoke. "I don't know, he's probably with that stupid assassin Maverick." Chishiro's words were almost flicking off his tongue.

With that I could see the anger in Teran begin to boil, his cheeks turning red. Teran was a calm tempered man around others but when it came to his son Itazuki he would easily lose it. Was it because he had high hopes for Itazuki but who always managed to become a disappointment or something else? Ten minutes passed by. Near the end, Teran's fury could be felt, rays of white energy sprayed off him the shack wobbled and I felt the ground starting to give way but then it ended. Itazuki burst through the door and Teran's temper dwindled down like the calm after a storm. "Hey dad", Itazuki's voice was cheerful like it was an attempt to hide that fact he was late. Maverick followed close by Itazuki. Itazuki and Maverick wore identical clothing, a brown tunic and pants that ended below the calves. They were still huffing and puffing from their arduous run.

The two merged with the circle around the table while I remained back. Teran's sharp green eyes stabbed into Itazuki, but then his glare ended and he was about to speak.

"Itazuki this place smells like a wet dog and fried cabbage." Maverick blurted, everyone looked at him. I wondered why he was even in the rebellion. His face was round like a child, and his eyes slanted slightly and his nose was a petite pump. But then I noticed his right hand, it wasn't normal but a metal dragon claw. Our small rebellion needed the strongest of warriors; weakness would not have been tolerated in choosing its members. "Anyways." Teran continued. "Rin's reign ends tonight. The world has suffered long enough!" Everyone applauded with shouts and clapping; but Itazuki and Maverick gave quiet ovation. Chishiro clapped, his body language read he was for all of this but his eyes read differently.

Teran placed on the table a blueprint of the Rin's castle. I drew near and mixed in and examined the blueprint. Teran pointed out the plan of action and put the map away. Teran had us line up. Then walked past each one, we were broken up into teams. He first came up to me. "Lithe." "Yes." I said. "You'll be with Flux." I looked over, Flux stood over me by a few inches. He was wearing a vest and shorts with blue hair with yellow streaks that spiked up, his face was rectangular and his jaw was square and jutted out from under his mouth. I got the smell of cologne resonating off of him. Why was he wearing cologne on a night like this? Who was he going to smell good for? But he was one of Teran's generals even though he was odd to be wearing cologne. Teran then went next to Alex Gingerback. I sized him fairly quickly. He had a small mallet, with golden trim and diamonds, hooked onto his belt. He was shorter and scrawny compared to most of us. Alex kept a serious face while Itazuki who stood next to him had an idiotic smirk. "Alex, you're with Itazuki." Teran said then moved on to the next. Alex leaned over attempting to reach Itazuki's ear. I think he whispered. "You better not mess this up." Itazuki hinted a smile and kept his gaze forward. Teran then paired Maverick with himself. All who was left was Chishiro. "Chishiro, you'll be plan B. Remain hidden but if anything goes wrong take action." Chishiro nodded then everyone stormed out the door.

It was midnight, Flux and I were at the rear end of the castle but there was a stone wall that bordered the cobblestone structure. Did Rin think that could keep us out? I flew up and floated just below the ledge. The top of the wall had a walkway, and each corner was a small tower. I looked down and Flux ran five feet of the wall and jumped two more feet. I grabbed his hand and helped lift him up. There was a guard patrolling. He didn't even know it when his shadow underneath him wrapped around him and constricted him till he fell. Flux jumped over the ledge and went quietly into a crouch. The night concealed me perfectly as I hovered over next to Flux. Flux and I then took out all the men patrolling the wall. I looked over seeing Itazuki and Alex take out the knights silently in the court yard. The court yard was small with a stone patio leading up to the main entrance with rose bushes along on both sides.
