(Two Years Later)
Today was the day of Kensi's first surgery, and everyone was a bundle of nerves.
"We're getting ready to take her back, but only one of you can come back to calm her while we put her under." The doctor said.
"I will." London volunteered.
"No! I want Unc Charwee." Kensi told her parents.
"You sure, sweetie?" Laila asked her daughter while holding Nicky and looking at her friend, "Could you, Charlee?"
"Yeah, it's fine." He responded.
"I'm going to need you to put these on then." The doctor told Charlee, while handing him a set of scrubs.
Charlee headed to the bathroom and changed.
Minutes later, he emerged ready to take the little girl to the OR.
"Ready, princess?" He asked while gently picking her up, careful not to pull out her IV and they followed the doctor.
"I's scared, Unc Charwee."
"It'll be ok, Kens. Just think of it as taking a really long nap. You love your naps, remember?" He comforted the little girl while laying her down on the table.
"Sing to me." She asked.
He nodded to the anesthesiologist, held her hand and started to hum her favorite Get Scared song: Badly Broken.
Seconds after being given sleeping gas, the little girl was out.
Charlee left the OR and went back to Kensi's room.
"How'd she do with being put under?" London asked.
"She was nervous at first, but she was fine after I started humming Badly Broken. And after the anesthesiologist gave her the medicine, she was out."

It had been two hours and Kensi is now back in her room, recovering.
"Kensi, sweetie. Uncle Nick is here." Laila said while waking her daughter.
"Unc Nick! I has a boo boo." She said tiredly while pointing to her bandage.
"I heard you wanted Uncle Charlee to hum one of my songs. Which one?" Nick asked while taking the little girls' hand in his.
"Ba... Bad Broke." She tried to say.
"Badly Broken?"
The little girl nodded with eyes closed and nuzzling into her mother.

I'm glad she made it through her surgery. Sorry if it's a little crappy and short.
Been busy and nervous this past week.
Busy because of Halloween, nervous because Austin Carlile of OM&M had at least two surgeries last week. I'm always a ball of nerves when one of my idols has to have surgery.
So, OM&M has been on repeat while waiting on twitter updates.
