Through Human Eyes
Through human eyes
What you would see
Is a girl more beautiful
Than you could ever wish to be
Long and wavy is her hair
Down to her petite size 2 hips
A bright red that glistens in the sun
It's color, the same shade as paprika
Her porcelain skin, dotted with freckles
That have faded over time
Like sprinkles on melting vanilla ice cream.
Honestly,
She is a beautiful Rose,
But then again,
Is there such things as an ugly rose?
